Max's POV

"I really like that girl." I tell Harvey. I can't stop thinking about her. I walk downstairs to get my phone. "Mum can I go for a walk." I ask her. "Yes but be back before dinner." I walked next door and knocked. The girl from Starbucks answered. "Hello! I am Max. We met at Starbucks earlier."  "Oh, umm. hi I am Riley. Pleasure to meet you." she replied "Ya... sorry if this is quite awkward but I would like to get your number so we could talk more often." I said with heat coming to my cheeks. "Oh umm ya sure." She smiled. We exchanged phones and entered our numbers. She put hers in as "😝☠️👌Ri Ri 👌☠️😝" I put mine in as "🇬🇧💖Max-a-Million💖🇬🇧". I gave her phone back and she gave me mine. So I asked next if we could hangout. She said yes. I walked her down the street to the park. We talked and got to know more about each other. I like how she is a tomboy. "Thanks." she said and blushed. "wh-what? I said that out loud didn't I" I replied. "Yeah but thanks." she giggled. Her laugh just melted my heart. It was getting dark so I told her i'd walk her home. "Thanks for walking me home Max." she told me. "No problem I will text you later." I told her and walked home smiling. I finished my dinner and went to bed smiling. What a great day and night.
