Stella sat at the kitchen table when the owl flew through the open window. Stella wasn't phased by this however and took the letters from it's beak. What did phase her however, was the name on hers. Stella Granger-Black.
"Mother can I talk to you in the kitchen." She called and her mother came in with a wary look on her face.
"Mother you have some explaining to do to me." She said and her mother blanched as she saw the letters in Stella's hand. The one that stood out the most was Stella's. Her mother sighed and sat down next to Stella.
"It was before I married your father. I was completely wasted and didn't know what I was doing, I don't know how you and hermione aren't full sisters with her being from the same father as you, but the man, his name was Sirius. He was an amazing person. I had met him previously in a business meeting with the police when there was a break-in, the owner of the house was killed of unknown causes and they wanted to see if we saw anyone going inside the house. We did of course, we were the ones that called the police. They had him stay with us for a few days, to make sure we were protected and I had gotten to know this mysterious man more and more. I became intrigued and then infatuated. I knew we weren't meant and I didn't act on it."
"Where is he now?" Stella asked and her mother shook her head.
"I can't tell you, Stella, I'm sorry."
"No you will tell me, you lied to me my whole life. I need to know where he is and why I didn't know about him until now."
"Stella..."
"No! I won't take no for an answer. If you don't tell me I'll find out myself. I don't care what you say. If you don't tell me then I'm done. I never knew and I want to know why."
"I can't Stella, I just can't."
"You mean you won't. Whatever, I'm done. Bye." Stella said and slammed hermione's letter on the table and stalked out of the dining room, out of the house completely. She walked down the street and blew out a breath.
"If there's any way I will find something on my dad I might as well try to find this bank place I read about in the letter. Now how do I get to gringotts bank?" I muttered. "I think there was something about a place called the leaky cauldron. Well that's a start."
Stella made it to the leaky cauldron in two hours. She walked inside and walked to the bartender.
Stella's pointof view/\
"Could I speak to Tom?" I asked and he smiled.
"That's me, what do you need kid?"
"I need to get to tpgringotts bank. Could you help me get to diagon alley, please?"
"Of course. Follow me." He said and lead me to the storage room where he tapped on the wall and it began to move. It formed an arch and I looked out at what I assumed was diagon alley.
"Here you are. You will be able to get back to the leaky cauldron when you get your wand."
"Alright, thank you, tom." I said and disappeared into the crowd of wizards and witches.
I walked to gringotts and entered quietly, I was nervous and I knew not to be rude to them, I was a polite girl if you were nice to me and I wanted to make a good impression on the goblins. I reached the end and looked up at the teller.
"How may I help you?"
"I was wondering if you could do a blood test to see if I can get access to my family's vault."
"And what would your name be?"
"My name is Stella Granger-Black, sir."
"We will see about that. Grylis, you are needed." He said and a goblin came over.
