I need some help with the cast. I am totally lost!!! :(
Please tell me who should i select as Emma. Nina Dobrev or Willa Holland.
I trust your brilliant minds to come up with a suggestion.
Normally, I don’t like getting up from the bed. Actually, that’s just a big understatement. I HATE getting up from the bed!
In fact, I hate waking up in the first place. And when I do, my eyes are all sleepy and my mood is terrible along with my hair and not to mention- I look like a soldier returned from World War 2!
But that was not the case when I woke up the next day in Rome. I felt good, in fact I felt amazing. I lay for a few minutes smiling in my cozy hotel water bed.
And as cliché as it sounds, I could feel the magic of Rome. And I simply loved it.
I had already showered before it was even 8:00 a.m.; surprising myself. I went to my parents’ room but they were still asleep. I wasn’t patient enough to wait for them to get up so I just left a message for them at the reception and headed out by myself.
And just as I was thinking about visiting a few of the famous places around, my stomach gave out a growling voice. Like that of a dead whale. So, I decided that it was better to get a decent breakfast first. Which was quiet difficult let me tell you; for a vegetarian like me. Finally, I saw a small brick building named ‘The Green Delight’ and went inside.
But I had forgotten one small little thing. I was in Italy, in a small infamous little hotel. The only available menu was in Italian and I had even forgotten to bring my dictionary.
“Excuse me, I need some help here. Do you have a menu in English?” I said hopelessly but no one even seemed to notice me.
“Don’t worry. I will help you.” Someone assured me from behind.
I turned around and sure enough it was him; the American boy from last night, standing with hands in his jeans pocket.
“Are you…stalking me?” I said fake eyeing him like a cop.
“Don’t flatter yourself, Princess.” He replied rolling his eyes as he sat down from across me.
I sat there gaping while he effortlessly translated the menu to me within a minute.
I called a waiter to our table. “I would have one Italian special and one chocolate milkshake.” And then I added grinning. “What do you want to eat waiter boy?”
He laughed and translated my order to the waiter. Then he turned back to look at me.
“You go ahead and enjoy your breakfast, I have already had mine.”
We talked for some time about this and that; you know- random things. And even though we talked for about half an hour, we forgot to talk about the most obvious thing. Our names! The thought of asking his name didn’t even cross my mind once.
Strange, huh? Yeah, tell me about it.
At around 10, I got a call from my mom. She wanted me to join her and dad on some tour bus.
Always the fun killer; that one. I thought sighing to myself knowing that I would have to go.
“I gotta go. There is some tour bus around Rome and my parents want me to go with them.” I said to the ‘waiter boy’ and hurried outside after paying the bill which wasn’t easy as the boy with me kept on insisting to pay the bill himself.
As I was rushing out, he called me from behind “Can you at least tell me what your name is?”
I laughed turning around only to find his blue eyes gazing into mine. “I thought you would never ask. Emma. Emma Jones. What’s yours?”
