Well you must be wondering why Chase is my enemy. So basically his family and my family are business partners and we have known each other since we were in our diapers. It was all good until we came in grade 9.
Puberty hit him and he became the hottest and most popular guy in our school whereas puberty didn't hit me until grade 10. So, because he became popular it wasn't right for the 'popular and hottest guy' to move around and talk to a girl like me.
So, we don't talk now, we only talk when our parents meet or when we have to go to a business party where we are forced to talk to each other because of our parents. There was one more reason why I hated him so much he-
"KARENN!", I was pulled out of my thoughts because of this high squeal of my friend Sara.
Hey Sara! How are you ?" I asked.
"I am good. What about you?"
"Peachy!" I said sarcastically.
"Oh come on! Tell me! Is this something about Chase?"
"Ding Ding! We have got a winner here! How did you know?" I said sarcastically.
"Kar, come on let it go."
"Okay.... so how were your holidays?" I asked
"Ooohh it was awesome we went to Maldives and I clicked so many pictures -"
"Hey Kar!" a voice too familiar interrupted Sara. I turned around and saw my other two besties! Jenny and Drake standing next to each other and holding each others hand.
"Hey lovebirds!" I said hugging both of them.
"How were you-" I was cut off by the bell which signaled that the first period has begun.
I bid goodbye to my friends as I had to collect my books from my locker.
I had exactly 10 minutes until the next bell. Once I reached my looker I saw a blue color paper stuck on my locker with tape. I was confused at first. I wasn't sure what to do.
Whoever stuck this here would have stuck it by mistake.
"But it has your name on it!"
Yeah but-
"No buts or ifs just open the letter!!" my mind scolded me.
I carefully took the blue paper and opened it.
