Olivia
Olivia's brain felt fuzzy. She felt ridiculously close to the person she had met less than a 2 days ago. Though she had no right to. They had known each other for three days tops. She seriously had no right to feel like this. But she just had to let it go. All that pain, fear, doubt... Everything that she had kept together in a little box for years had suddenly come out. And with a stranger of all people. A cute, handsome stranger.. Oh shut up Olivia.
It was a lonely world, that was true, but that didn't mean she had to throw herself into the arms of the first man that gave her a lift.
She wondered if he could see them too. These mindless creatures patrolling all the areas? Her grandmother told her that she was the only one, she had called her "chosen one" but her heart refused to believe it. Maybe she should ask him. There had to be a reason he always carried a loaded gun with him. Well duh, Olivia. He isn't planning on shooting himself in the foot with it. Her brain whispered.
Ethan looked at her worriedly and she smiled. "I'm fine, I promise. He looked at her with uncertainty. "Do you see them?" She asked, hoping he wasn't going think she was as weird as she sounded right now. Ethan just ran his hand through his hair and took a deep breath. Worry etched his forehead once again. "Um... I don't get hallucinations" he scratched his head, thinking about what had happened 2 days ago.
Olivia shook her head, forcefully straightened her shoulders and walked a few steps to the glass door at the back of the grocery shop they were in and pointed toward a small wave of creepers in the distance that seemed to be heading their way.
"Them."
