It was the perfect day, sun shining brightly in the clear skies, wet grass glowing with dew drops, trees providing me with just enough shade. Nothing could possibly go wrong.....so that's why, of course, everything did.....

***

I was gazing into the beautiful skies when suddenly, the clear skies were shrouded with stormy clouds, the bright sun was blocked by deep fog, and the wind......hadn't changed. Wait.....I looked around at the odd scene, the darkness in the air didn't seem to be affecting anybody, not one person stared into the sky, not one person ran to the shade, even the wind seemed to be ignoring the eerie climate! I just got even more confused when a woman walked past me, she smiled and said,

"Wonderful day isn't it!?!?!" I stared at her in confusion.

The skies seemed to be growing darker by the minute, but even the dogs seemed to be ignoring it! I decided to ask someone about the weather, just to make sure I wasn't going mad.

"Don't the skies seem to be getting darker?" I asked an old man who was sitting on a bench in the park.

The old man looked at me and smiled "Havin' a bad day!?! Don't you worry about it, the days will only get better..."

So I was the only one who could see the storm, why, though? My brain was muddled up like I knew the answer, but something was holding it back from me.... so close, yet so far away.....I glared at the sky, hoping it would give me the answers that I needed.  Slowly, I realised that the clouds were swirling, like a tornado, and every tornado had an eye.....

I followed the direction of the storm, running past stores and parks, desperate to find an explanation for the weird things I was seeing.  Soon, I found the eye of the storm, right above a graveyard. It seemed to be originating from a particular grave, and kneeling next to the grave was a.......girl? I moved closer to the gate of the graveyard, keen to know what was happening. The girl had her hands locked together around an object as if in prayer, her eyes were closed and her eyebrows were furrowed in concentration. She was muttering something, something that looked like a chant. Tendrils of blackness seeped out of her, slithering upward, into the sky

Suddenly her eyes shot open, and I gasped, her eyeballs were completely black and glazed like she was in a trance. Her hair was a really dark shade of black, and soon a white fog was enveloping her, and even though I knew I shouldn't, I yelled

"Hey!!!!!" My voice came out louder than I had intended, and the girl's eyes cleared, her eyeballs were white again, her irises big and bright blue. She snapped out of her trance and stared at me with wide eyes. The darkness in her hair seeped away and turned her hair back into curly golden- blonde locks. The tendrils quickly faded and the storm disappeared. The girl was breathing hard like she had run a marathon, she looked confused, and her mouth kept opening and closing as if she wanted to say something but couldn't find the words, finally, she frowned...

"What....How did.....Who are......" She stammered "You're not supposed to be here..." , then she stood up and ran...
