Marin pulled Adrienne off him in a panic, still holding her shoulders. Gabriel looked at him for a second then back at his daughter " Adrienne I must have a word with you." His voice was rough "a-ah I shall go home now." Marin stuttered out "no you stay here." Making both teens confused "what?" "You heard me now sit and wait." Marin did as he was told and Adrienne gave him an apologetic look when she left with her dad. Adrienne saw her dad opened another door that lead to his work room. She went in and he sat at his desk Adrienne was nervous "Marin is his name right?" Adrienne looked up "yes!" Her father look off at a wall and smiled " he reminds me of you mother." Adrienne stopped "what?" Her father laughed in the first time in years " Marin huh?" "Adrienne I'm proud of you, I was so worried you'd fall for someone like clovis." Her father put his hand in his hair slick it back "wait... your okay with this?" She asked "no, but anyone is better then clovis and Marin is good at making clothes he would be a good husband." Adrienne's face went completely red "I NEVER THOUGHT THAT FAR!" Her father gave her a look "okay maybe just a little..." Gabriel smiled "that boy has a good head on his shoulders..you may go now." Adrienne was shocked "that's it?" Gabriel nodded "that's it." Adrienne ran out of the room to go back to Marin who was just sitting there playing with Tikki and plagg she was out of breath "Marin...he .....he....dad....he." Marin cut her off "breathe." She took a breath " father he's okay with this with you!" Marin looked at her his cheeks redden alittle "he said that I could marry you and he bless it!" She jumped on Marin who flinched alittle "marry?" He said Adrienne's face busted with so many shades of red "well, I ummm." She looked at him his face was a darker red the both started laughing "your such a dork." Marin laughed harder "but it's cute." He looked at her his eyes shining with love Marin held onto her and put his head on her shoulder "thank you." He whispered she held on to him as well not saying anything.
