Hau smiled, stretching his arms above his head as he walked into the Pokemon Centre, handing his Pokemon to the nurse. He hadn't planned to have gone to the Pokemon Centre mind you, but after being challenged by someone named Gladion, he had lost.
He wasn't very torn up about it, and had even complimented Gladions battle skills, but all that had gotten him was Gladion calling him weak. He was mildly intrigued by this attitude, but decided not to question it too much.
Still, something about the boy stayed in his mind, and he wondered if he'd see him again. Maybe then he could actually get to know them, and how they thought.
"Sir, your Pokemon are perfectly happy and healthy. We hope to see you again!" The nurse said, interrupting Haus train of thought. Hau smiled and took his Pokemon back, before exiting the building.
After walking for a bit around the town he was in, Hau'oli City, to be precise, he decided to head out in order to train his Pokemon.
After training for a few hours, Hau decided to head on back. However, on his way back, he saw him.
Still the same black hoodie and weird blonde hair from when he'd last seen him.
After thinking for a minute, Hau decided to talk to him.
"Hey! You!" Hau yelled, causing the blonde haired boy to jump, before turning around.
"What do you want?" Gladion responded, eyes narrowing at Hau. "A rematch or something?"
"No, not at all! I just wanted to... know who you are I guess." Hau replied, scratching the back of his head.
Gladion seemed mildly confused by this statement, however his gaze softened slightly.
"There's nothing to know." Gladion replied, turning around and starting to walk away.
However, he was stopped by Hau running up to him and putting a hand on his shoulder."Of course there's something to know!" Hau said cheerfully, albeit slightly confused. "If you want, we can go get some malasadas from a restaurant and talk there." Hau suggested.
Gladions face went slightly red at this suggestion and the fact Haus hand was on his shoulder, but he quickly composed his self. He opened his mouth to say no, but then looked at Hau again.
It couldn't possibly hurt to talk with this kid for a bit.
"Fine then." Gladion sighed, causing Haus face to light up.
"Alright! Follow me then. My names Hau, by the way. Thought I should mention it since I know your name already." Hau said, before grabbing Gladions arm and dashing off back to Hau'oli city, and the Malasada restaurant.
"You can let go, y'know." Gladion mumbled, his face red as Hau essentially dragged him through the city.
"Relax! We're here now, anyways." Hau said, letting go of his arm, before walking into the restaurant, Gladion following behind him.
Authors note: so here's the first chapter! It's complete t r a s h and I'm not too sure where this scene would fit into canon, but still. I'll have the next chapter up fairly soonish maybe hopefully.
