chapter two;

"What the hell.." Violet whispered lowly, not knowing what to think. She knew she doesn't know Harry but why was he doing in a graveyard? She's sure he didn't have any family here since he had an English accent. She kept looking at him, since he wasn't moving and she wasnt either. She almost fell when she saw that he had turned his head, and was now looking at her. She decided it was a good time for her to leave, and not turn back.

Violet speed walked out of the graveyard as fast as her feet would take her; not looking back if Harry was following either. Why was he in the graveyard? Maybe he did have distant relatives that died here, she can't just assume things. It was just creepy how he was in a graveyard with fog that appeared out of nowhere. She was finally getting to her house, where she basically skipped each step to get into her house and lock the door behind her

Looking out the window that was right next to the front door, Violet saw that no one followed her home. Which she didn't see why anyone would since she didn't believe that Harry was that creepy or stalkery. At least, she hoped not. She placed her stuff down, and walked into her living room. Her house was cozy, small; just the way she liked it. The wallpaper was floral, hard wood flooring, a nice fire place and some couches to sit on.

Violet laid down on the red velvet couch, and placed her hands on her face. Today was just plain weird. Harry asked for a book on witchcraft then she sees him in a graveyard? What was he up to? Not that it was any of her business but wasn't it kinda strange? Maybe he was curiosu about witchcraft, and maybe he had a relative. She thought she was going nuts trying to make sense of this.

A new guy shows up then two months later, murders happen? Violet groaned, she sounded like everybody else now. Which she didn't want! Maybe this person, who wanted to kill along, saw the perfect chance to do it since a new guy comes into town and no one would assume it was him/her since everyone knew each other; no one would expect him. She was going to go crazy about this if she kept thinking about it and Harry.

Right when Violet was about to get up, her cell phone went off in her pocket. She grabbed it out of her pocket to see Liam texted her.

Liam: dude u wanna cook me dinns

Violet: wow no pleases? rude but yes i will come over

Liam: bless ur heart Vi

Violet: yeah bless my heart

Violet rolled her eyes at Liam, always wanting something from her. Getting up from her spot on the couch, she made her way to the kitchen that was attached to the living room. She took out some pots, and pans. She looked in the fridge to take out some chicken for their dinner. She placed everything on the island and looked across to imagine what Harry would look like sitting in one of the bar stools. She groaned trying to get the image out of her head. She didn't even know him, and she's imagining him here?

Definitly going crazy.

"Are you serious?" Violet laughed as she ate her chicken with Liam sitting across from her. Liam laughed as he nodded telling how his turtle ate his other turtles foot. "How does a turtle eat another turtles foot? I've never heard such thing, Li."

"Yeah, me too until I came home from England to see Archimedes chewed off Boris's foot! It was completely bonkers. I had to spilt them up after. Sad, very sad." Violet just laughed her head off to the story to think about how a turtle ate another turtles foot, crazy! Liam shook his head at the memory, thinking how was crazy it was. "Anything crazy happen to you today?"

"Uh, not really but just really weird." Violet contaplated telling Liam, which she really should especially if she might be next. Liam was looking at her like she should explain, and she just shifted in her seat. "Harry was at the Library today and asked me about witchvraft books which was normal, not weird but when I was walking home, the cemetary had fog like it was out of the Vampire diaries. So I decided to check it out, like it was no big deal, but i got halfway and saw Harry there. I didn't know what to think, Li. He also saw me then I ran home."

"You don't believe the rumors about him, do you?" Liam didn't believe the rumors either, he thought it was ridicilous to assume the killings were someone's fault just because they just moved here. Violet rolled her eyes, expecting Li to know her better. "Li, you know I don't believe that stuff. It's just weird, don't you think? Asking about witchcraft then being in a graveyard with fog?"

"Yeah, I do admit that something funky is going on but he might just relatives there." Violet agreed telling them that's what she thinks, just thinking it was just a bit weird. Liam excused himself from the table saying that he needed to head home since it was late. which was weird since it was only eight, and he usually left around ten but just brushed it off.

After she waved off Liam goodbye then went to clean up dinner, and the island.

Violet walked into the Library the next day with a smile on her face. Nothing out of the ordinary happened this morning which made her happy. Liam smiled as she walked by to go to the cart full of books that need to be put away. She looked at the books on the cart to see the book that Harry looked at was in there. She picked it up to see it looked old, and a bit battered. She opened to flip through the pages to see that nothing was ripped or torn out, just pages about witchy stuff.

Shuffling three other books in hand, she started her rounds today like any other normal day at work when Liam called her over, She strolled over to see that the Sheriff of the town stood in front of the desk. The Sheriff was a great one, very loyal and gets stuff done in the town. He was a bit young for a sheriff, thirty five years old. He smiled when Violet came to the desk, and sighed. "Hello, Miss Velvetine. Sorry to disturb y'all today but there has been another murder. Someone found a body in the graveyard that seems to me has been there since at least last night. Do you guys know anything about this? Seen anything?"

"Um, no. I haven't. Sorry, Sheriff." Violet didn't know why she didn't tell him about what happened yesterday. She guessed she just didn't want to fuel more flames to the Harry situation that everyone is eager to blame. Sheriff thanked them, and left to get more infomation. Liam looked at her like she needed to explain to him but she just walked away, never turning back.

Did she do the right thing?
