"Valentines day, 2017. Wow, I've got no one to go with" I tell (y/bff/n).
Our school has a special dance, where you could pick your partner and the dance is on exact Valentines.
Everyone had their partner, yet a lot of girls were asking the famous kids at school. Mario Selman, Weston Koury, Mark Thomas and Tyler Brown.
I knew that Weston already got a date with his girlfriend, Mark who's going with Caitlin, Tyler who's taking food with him yet he recently asked Loren. (But Tyler asked Loren to only hangout in the dance and probably skip it too)
Now, the girls were all drooling at Mario.
"Close your eyes" (y/bff/n) grins.
"What? but wh-"
"Shush and shut them!"
I close my eyes as he/she leads me somewhere. It was after school and I wanted to go home and watch Netflix.
I heard a door open, and I stepped in.
"Open"
I saw Mario kneeling down, with a rose.
"What? W-Why?" I blush.
"(y/complete/n) will.. will you be.. my valentine?" He rubs the back of his neck.
"Why not?" I laugh.
He hugs me tight, "Thank you"

We went down the halls, girls were chatting all over. (we as in you and mario) Somehow, I didn't get anxious. Knowing that Mario was by my side, holding my hand I felt.. safe.
We enter the gym, where it was being held.
He sighed, "It's gonna be a long night" he chuckled.
"Yeah.." I scan my eyes across the room.
We enter the crazy party, and a slow song comes on.
I blush profusely. "Well damn"
He leads me to the dance floor, he grabs my hand and puts it in his neck and puts his in my waist.
"Get some, Mario!" Weston shouts, Erin's laughter following by.
"Shut up!" He shouts back, I was laughing.
We sway, for about two minutes or more and we get close and kiss.
