Cold hands are supposed to mean one has a warm heart - the reasoning behind that is beyond me, probably something about balance.
If cold hands mean a warm heart, what do cold feet mean? Cold knees? Ears? Nose? Do any of those mean someone has a bright mind? Or a kind soul?
There shouldn't be a need for something to be cold just to signal something else is warm, something bad shouldn't be needed for something good to be noticed.
