Happiness is fire - it's warm and bright; it consumes everything else; and it can hurt or kill if left unattended.

Happiness is lightning - bright against a dark background; fleeting; followed by a greater darkness once it's gone.

Happiness is a shooting star - wishes that probably won't come true are made upon it; it's hard to find, easy to miss and stumbled upon almost always by chance.

Happiness is darkness - easy to get lost in; easy to forget about when it's not there; hard to understand and, therefore, sometimes scary and undesired.

Happiness is wind - it can come through the smallest cracks and leave the same way; it will die down if trapped between flawless walls; difficult to harness and impossible to catch.

Happiness is a favourite something - it's different for everyone.
