His Parents Want His Ex Back (Part 2)

Previously...

"Nova mijo why don't you get back with Nia?" You heard his mother ask

"I don't know mom.. I really care about Y/N" you heard him say

"Please? For your dad and I? We highly disapprove of you with that."

You'd had enough and went into the kitchen.

"I am so sorry I'm not good enough for your son. I have given him everything I have because I love him and he knows that." You turned to Nova, "And for him to contemplate breaking up with me to go back with his ex is very insulting. But hey! Being here and around the 3 of you I am insulted every 5 minutes! So don't worry about me anymore. I won't be a problem"

You grabbed your purse and quickly walked out of the house and made the long trip home, calling your locksmith on the way.

Now...

You got home a few hours later and were grateful that the locksmith was waiting outside for you. After he changed the locks and gave you the keys, he left and you went inside to start packing Nova's clothes.

He didn't come straight home that night which you were both hurt and upset about. But he did end up coming the next morning banging on the door for you to let him in. You groaned and walked downstairs to the door.

"Your stuff is out there Nova. Get it and leave" you said to him

"Y/N please can we talk about this babe?"

You still didn't open the door, "I'm not going to compete with your mom anymore Nova. I'm through, what's there to talk about?"

"Y/N I'm sorry, please let me in" he continued

"No Nova! Leave now!" you yelled

You didn't hear anything else from him. He left.

6 Months Later...

You hadn't talked to any of Nova's family in 6 months, and you were handling it well. Until one morning you got a call from Nova's mother. You were very worried because his mom NEVER called YOU out of all people. You answered frantically.

"Hello?! Is everything Ok?! What's wrong?!"

"Nova's in the hospital, he got into a car accident. He wanted me to call you. God knows why" she groaned

You hung up the phone and sped to the hospital, not even caring about your outfit. When you got there, you found Nova's room and went inside to see him sleeping on the bed. You completely ignored his mother's presence and sat in the chair next to him.

"I'm here Nova.. I'm here.." you whispered

"Finally" you heard behind you

"I got here as fast as I could."you said through gritted teeth

"Could've been faster." She pressed.

You'd had enough as you stood up and walked to the door, "I need a word with you. Now."

She rolled her eyes and stepped out of the room. You stood and tried to compose yourself.

"Mrs. Franceschi I am not going to keep doing this with you. I completely understand that you don't want me to be with Nova, you want him to be with Nia. I am here today as his friend, not his ex-girlfriend, or a potential girlfriend. I thought I made that clear at your home a few months ago. Your son is in there in a hospital bed, yet you want to be upset with me for being here. Now please can you be nice to me for an hour, and if he doesn't wake up then I'll leave since that's what you want." You whisper-yelled

You didn't say anything else as you turned and sat back in the chair next to Nova and grabbed his hand and watched him sleep. Nova's mom came in a few minutes later and didn't say a word to you, which you were thankful for.

An hour went by and Nova was still asleep, so as promised you grabbed your purse and keys from the night stand and got ready to leave. You kissed Nova's forehead lightly and started to walk out.

"Don't leave Y/N.. Please? He needs you here." His mom said lightly, looking up at you

You stood at the door for a moment and went back to the seat next to the bed.

"I'm sorry Y/N.. for all that I've said to and about you. That was so wrong of me and I'll never forgive myself for what I've done to you. My son obviously loves you, but I altered his thinking and that caused the both of you to split up.. I'm so sorry." She said behind you and sounded... sincere..

You turned around and looked at her and she had tears in her eyes. You stood up again and sat next to her on the couch and hugged her.

"I forgive you.." you told her

The both of you hugged for a while then you started to tell her about yourself and vice versa. About an hour later, the both of you were giggling like best friends.

"Oh My God.. My head..." You heard someone groan and you quickly went back to the chair next to the bed.

"Nova are you ok? How are you feeling?"  You asked 

"Y/N... you came?" He asked

"Of course I came Nova... I wouldn't just leave you here" you told him

He looked at you in awe and smiled, "Thank you so much..."

"Of course, I'll always be here for you."

Nova's mom went out to get the doctor.

"And you're here in the same room with my mom.. and nothing is broken?" he joked

"Ohh we had a come to Jesus moment, but we're friends now." you told him

There was a moment of silence

"Y/N I love you.."

"I love you too Nova.. I always will." You said and grabbed his hand

"Will you be my girlfriend... again?" he asked hopefully

It took you a while to answer him, "I'll give you another shot.." you smiled at him

A/N: OMG GUYS GUESS WHAT!!!

Ok so Yesterday if you follow Nova on Instagram, you know that he went live a couple times. So when I tuned in, he was singing and rapping and ya girl was blown away. So when he finished, I commented and said "Get somebody who can do both" with the heart eyed emojis. So he started to read the comments AND HE READ MINE OUT LOOUUUUUUUD!!! But then... HE WINKED!!!!!! I couldn't even buh-reathe guys I was dying! I know its not super exciting, but I was happy about it!! So we're basically dating now since he read my comment! Lol
