My Giant Prince

Chapter 1: Mom& The Giant Men

~~~Cinder~~~

I laid in the closet that damn king calls a room. I hate this room so much because he threw me in here after killing my mom and dad. I got up and looked out the window to the forest hoping that Prince Dean will come to save me.

+++Flashback 10 years ago+++

I was laying in the field next to our house when the ground started to shake. I stopped and looked around when I saw 2 giants. The young one looked at me and than the other giant and I started to shake when mom came out of the house and hugged me. 

"Hello Lucy" the older one boomed which made me flinch. 

"It's OK Cinder they won't hurt you" mom said looking me in the eyes.

"They are so...so big" I said.

"If they hurt you I'll turn them into toads" she said making me laugh. 

The older giant looked at me and smiled, "I'm king Henry and this is my son Prince Dean" he said motioning to himself and the young giant that was around my age.

"Why don't you do and get to know Dean?" mom said.

"At least you didn't say play mom I'm 14 " I said back.

"Awe OK my baby go and play with Mr. Dean" she said in a baby voice causing the two giants to laugh. 

I looked a Dean, "And what are you laughing at"I said pointing my finger at him.

He picked me up which cause me to yelp. I stopped in front of his face...the beautiful electric blue eyes where looking at me, "You're funny for a warlock Cinder" he said with a smirk.

I blushed and looked away as he brought me closer to his mouth. He whispered, "I saw that and it was very cute" his warm breath felt like electricity on my skin.

The slave...I mean servant bell rang bringing me back to the present. The bell for the king's room was ringing and I just wanted to ignore it but the last time I did he locked me in the jail for a week. I got up and put my uniform on walking to his room.

His two sons walked by me and glared to me like I was a cow that they are about to kill. I walked to the other side of the castle and knocked on the king's door.

"Come in Cinder" the king said with venom in his voice.

I opened the door and walked in, "I need you to help Helen in the kitchen for the party tonight. During the party you will be walking around with a tray of snacks for my guest" he said not even looking at me.

"Yes my Lord" I said bowing.

"Now leave you waste of life" he said.

I closed his doors softly and made my way to the kitchen to see Helen. He held her arms out to me and I ran into them crying.

"You will do great things Cinder, it was your mom's last prophecy" she said which made me cry harder. 

"I miss them so much" I sobbed into her chest.

"I know me too baby, me too" she said pulling me in tighter until the king's sons walked in.

"Awe the little slave is crying about his life" the eldest Jacob said.

"He shouldn't have one. Father should of killed him with his parents" the youngest Jack said laughing.

Helen shook her head before looking at me, "Just ignore them and help me with the soup" she said softly to me.

"Now you two, do you want me to tell your father who really broke the front window" she said coldly.

"Watch it you old cow" Jacob said before pulling Jack out of the room.

I turned an looked at Helen, "You are not an old cow" I said.

"Thanks Cinder" she said back. 

We worked until sundown than I went back to my closet...room and changed into my dress uniform Helen made for me. She is like my mother sometimes which doesn't surprise me since she was my mom's best friend.

I looked at the uniform and noticed that it was so beautiful. I left my room and was going to the giant party room when I ran into the assholes known as the king's sons bumped into me. 

"Oh what do we have here?" Jack teased. 

"A slaved dressed too well" Jacob said ripping the right sleeve off.

"Shit stop!" I yelled.

"I don't think so you slave" Jack said.

They were both ripping my uniform apart until Helen came in. She covered her mouth and I cried.

"I think our work is done" Jacob said with a grin.

"I'm sorry Helen...I tried to make them stop but...but they wouldn't" I sobbed.

"Shhh honey follow me" she said with a sad smile. We got to a empty room when she started to chant waving her hands over me.

The uniform was starting to mend it self until it became good as new. "Thanks Helen" I said hugging her. 

"Don't thank me it will fall apart again at midnight in the middle of the party. We will have to sneak out so I can do it again" she said smiling.

"OK, that shouldn't be a problem since these parties are pure chaos" I said.

"OK now lets go to this "ball" and eat the food when no one is paying attention" she said.

The ball was like any other one we had to organize. It was so both sons could find wives to continue the blood line and so Jacob could become king. I shudder at the thought of him being king. It was 11:50 and I was looking for Helen when the ground started to shake.

I staid still as the roof was ripped off of the castle and it was Dean. My heart exploded when I saw him. 

"King Edward" he boomed.

He was searching until his eyes connected with mine, "Cinder?" he said softly.

"Dean! Please help me the king..." I cried out in pain as a sword came out of my side.

"I should have killed you with your family you ungrateful brat" the king said with venom in his voice.

"You said Cinder died" Dean boomed becoming angry again.

"I did so you wouldn't bother my kingdom you stupid giant!" The king yelled twisting the blade in me.

I cried as the clock struck midnight and my cloths reverted back. Dean was boiling with rage as Helen ran over and hit the king over the head.

"Leave Cinder alone" she screamed. Dean quickly grabbed me and Helen and I cried out in pain. Dean dropped the roof and held us to his chest. He turned around and started walking away from the castle.

He looked down at me with tears in his eyes, "He told me you died with your parents Cinder...If I would of known" he said looking away.

"I'm so fucking glad to see you but, why where you here?" I asked. 

"Father said the king of your kingdom wanted to invade our kingdom so I wanted to scare him. I did and now I have you" he said smiling at me. 

"After you there wasn't anyone else" I said.

"Same here...my mom and dad tried but, they knew how much I cared about you so they didn't force the matter" he said looking at me before he brought me up to his mouth and kissed my head.
