Summary: You and Daryl are at Deanna's welcoming party but you both leave. You guys go bored and ended up getting drunk together.

"You must have a favorite meal, Y/n. Everybody has a favorite. What's yours? I would love to make it for you some time." Some lady has been talking to you non stop about food. I was hungry but I didn't want to look fat in front of new people. The dress you were wearing was already almost too small. "Umm.... Baked potato's? I-I guess." You hadn't hade those in a while. "Well I'm on it!" She was too cheerful. I already didn't like her.

Knock Knock. Spenser jogged to the door only to be greeted with the same scowl that made your heart melt. The one and only Daryl Dixon. He walked in and looked around for a moment but he stopped when they met with yours. He walked over to you and just stood there, staring deep in you bright green eyes. "Yes?" You were starting to get creeped out. "Ummm.... Damn, I forgot." Both of you guys stutter when you are nerves. You hadn't seen this many people since the world ended. "Let me know when you remember. I will be outside." You started walking when he grabbed your wrist. "Can I come with? Its cramped in here." You kind of wanted to be alone but Daryl was a friend and you didn't want to disappoint him. "Yeah. I could use the company. But not this much." You said refuring to the big crowd of people.

You closed the door behind you guys. The cold air nipped your nose and fingers. "I regret comin' out here already." He chuckled a little. You looked at him and smiled, "I don't. Yeah, its cold, but its beautiful out here. The stars and the moon. The roads not filled with walkers. No blood stained on all the walls. Beautiful." It was silent for a good two minuets before he spoke up. "Well I still think it cold. I'm going home. See you tomorrow, Y/n." You didn't want him to go just yet. So you stood up and chased him. "Wait! Daryl!" He turned to you while you were still running after him and you ran right into his chest. "Slow down. Jesus." You couldn't help but giggle.

"Can you stay just a little bit longer?" You gave him the puppy dog eyes. He thought about it for a second. He nodded. "What should we do?". "Mmm.. Alexandria is a boring place...we cant go outside the walls right now..." Then it hit you. "We should get hammered. And just be weird." you gave him a wide smile. "Alexandrian people would never let us any other day. They put the liquor out for a reason! Soooo.." Daryl stared at you like you were crazy. "Fine, but just this once. But no dancing." Squeals of excitement left your mouth as you grabbed his hand and ran back to the party. You saw a part of Daryl that you never thought you would ever see. You drank and danced until you threw up then you danced some more. The laughter and music was the only thing you could hear for 45 minuets.

Soon the party began to get bigger and bigger as more people arrived. You couldn't find Daryl so you started panicking being the drunk idiot you were. "Rick! have you seen Daryl? I cant see him!" You were freaking out. Rick laughed and grabbed your shoulders to turned you around. Daryl was passed out on Deanna's coffee table. You walked up to him and poked his face. "Hey, ugly! Get up!" He moaned and rolled off the table. You laughed and slowly picked him up off the floor. "Time for you to go home! And you broke your promise. You said no dancing!"

You walked home with him clinging to your arm like a child, Groaning the whole time about some pasta maker. You had finally reached to door and stumbled in. Daryl fell as he was walking up the stares. He had given up and just slept there for the night. You decided on passing out in the living room. Well... your body did. You slept that night and part of the next day. You guys vowed never to drink again. Ever.
