Daryl's Morning

Summary: You and Daryl spend the night in the kitchen just talking and laughing. You guys wake up Rick and he comes down stairs and makes fun of you.

You and Daryl were sleeping upstairs. You got out of bed and put on your bunny slippers. You quietly snuck out the door trying not to wake him. The steps creaked as you walked down them. You hissed through your teeth. You got down to the kitchen and leaned against the counter. The creek of the stairs drew you out of your thoughts.

"What are ya' doin' up, Sweetheart?" You jumped a little. "Nothin', just a bad dream." He walked up to you and put his hands on your hips. He propped you up on the counter. "Wanna' tell me about it?" You shook your head. "Ok. What do you wanna' talk about?" You and Daryl have been talking all night about you past lives.

"What did you do before this?" You shrugged. "Mmhm..." He giggled at you. "Come on, I told you that i was a mechanic. Don't just 'Mhmh' me. What did you do?" You let out a long sigh. "Fire fighter on Tuesdays. Nurse on Wednesday. And a angel on Fridays." He looked puzzled. You smirked at him and rose your eyebrow. "Ohhh.... Ok, I got it." You giggled t his bank face. "It would have been nice to know that before, I could have asked for things."

"In your dreams! That's in the past for a reason." He gave you a sly smile. "I know what I want to put behind you too." You gasped and laughed. Once again the stairs interrupted you. "Rick! What are you doing up?" He rubbed his eyes and said, "With you guys laughing? In my dreams." You and Daryl looked at each other and giggled. "No. In my dreams!" You and Daryl laughed loudly. Rick shook his head, walked back to bed. "Goodnight, love birds."
