"Aren't they beautiful?" A blonde woman with blue eyes asked her husband. She held two twin babies tightly in her arms.
"I've never seen anything more beautiful.." the husband said. He had brown hair and brown eyes. He looked at his children, full of love. The twins, a boy and a girl, smiled back with joy.

The happy family sat together in their tiny house in the little village of Ru'zal. The world seemed so perfect, and peaceful that night. But little did they know, it wouldn't always be that way...

~7 years later~

"Haha! Look at Casey! Look how weird she looks!" A girl named Rose laughed. All the village children surrounded little Casey, laughing and pointing at her.

"I.. I don't look weird!" Casey cried. Rose flipped her dirty blonde hair and laughed. Roses father was the village Lord. She was automatically the most popular kid in the village and everyone did what she said. She had power over all. She was mean to everyone. Other children would do whatever they could to be her friend. Even if it meant being her personal slave. Rose bullied Casey because she could. Rose was known as the most beautiful girl in the village, and everyone knew it. But she felt like Casey was robbing her of her title, so she had to act fast. She did the only thing she could. She was mean. She made others hate her too.

"Face it Casey, you'll never be as cool as Me. You're just a looser." Rose said as she shoved Casey to the ground. Casey looked up into Roses dark, blue, evil eyes. And all she saw was hatred.

Rose walked off with the rest of the laughing children. Casey's twin Kadence, found her on the ground wiping the tears from her face. Kadence looked the same as Casey, Light brown hair with blue eyes.

"Casey! Are you okay?" He helped her up.
"Y-Yeah, im fine."
"Don't listen to her. She's just mean Because she's jealous of you."
"Thanks Kadence.."

They walked back home and their mother and father greeted them. They ate dinner and went to bed. While they were sleeping Casey was awakened by a sound.

"Kadence!" She wispered.
"What..?" Kadence asked, half awake.
"T-There's someone downstairs!"
"Huh?"
"Mommy and Daddy are talking to someone!"
"So?"
"They... don't sound nice..."

They crept down stairs to see their mother and father talking to a man with one arm and a bandana covering his mouth. He looked extremely scary to the twins and talked in a mean voice.

"You said, you was gonna pay me!" The man said.
"I-I know sir! I'm sorry! We just-"
"Yeah yeah, you've told me a thousand times! Ya had kids and forgot about the deal! I get it! That's not an excuse! You think you can just not pay the highest rankin' bandit guild in all the land?!"
"N-No sir! We just-"
"I don't wanna hear it! I'll be back tomorrow with my other men, ya better have yer' pay." The man walked out and slammed the door behind him.

Kadence and Casey looked to each other with worried faces. "A bandit guild...?" Kadence asked.
"Mommy and Daddy would never do that! Bandits are bad!"

"We can't get the money by tomorrow!" Their father yelled
"Then what will we do..?" Their mother asked.
"We run."

The next day they packed all their belongings and left the village. Kadence and Casey were very confused but went along with it. They set up a camp site a couple miles away from their village, and everyday they traveled farther, and farther, until they stopped. They lived in a tent far, far away from the village of Ruzal. Near their tent there was a huge tree that they were told to climb and hide in, in case anything happened. The twins figured it had something to do with the bandits.
