Prologue-Chris's Inner Conflict

Chris didn't know when his feelings shifted differently toward her. It was supposed to be casual. At party, if they see each other, they would automatically find a corner and "hook-up". He didn't know why but he didn't like hooking up with other girls anymore. He has started to only want her and just her to himself. He loves the way she would smile whenever she sees him. Her eyes light up with mischief and innocence that only she can do effortlessly without drawing too much attention. Her eyes only wander to him and he likes it so much that it is driving him crazy. He can't get her out of his mind. She is everywhere and Chris doesn't know what to do.

Whenever they see each other, they would lock eyes instantly. They would send looks and glances until one of them made their way to the other. They would gravitate closer and closer until one of them kisses the other. Their kisses were always electrifying and intense to the point that they would pull apart just to breathe for a moment to only go back again.

God, Chris loves kissing her. She always seems to know what turn him on. Her kisses were just like her. They were very powerful and yet very tender and soft at the same time. He couldn't help but likes the way she would just know from one look that he was entirely hers.

He is falling for her. Chris is falling deep and hard for her that it scares him so much that he tries to avoid her whenever he could. However, avoiding her didn't help him. Hooking up with other girls didn't work either. He was stuck. He was stuck not knowing what to do

 It was ridiculous and baffling how much it terrified him. It wasn't like he has never fallen for anyone before. He did love his previous girlfriend. It is just that this time, with Eva, it is something completely new. He feels completely and extremely raw whenever they are alone. He becomes so vulnerable and open whenever they are together. He doesn't put on an act with her. He is completely himself and she is completely herself.

However he can never admit aloudthat he is falling for her. Even though he wants her, he doesn't deserves her. Eva deserves someone better than Chris. Someone who would never make her to cry. He isn't right for her. He knows he isn't right for her. No matter how much he thinks or she thinks that he can changes, he knows himself too well. He would only fucked everything up and hurt her.

They can never be anything more than a hook-up. He needed to bury his feelings for her.
