Ace And The Scouts

I ran past a window stealing the bread cooling there, I kept going strait, then left, then right and left again. Once I was far enough away I stopped and ate some of the bread, the rest I would take to Loki. I wiped my mouth when I had finished and headed back home. I turned around the corner to an abandoned house, I opened the door, it creaks a bit as I do but I have grown used to it. I head into what was once the kitchen and set down the rest of the bread, some rotten fruit and some fresher stuff I dug up in a field on the rotting table"Loki come here I got you some food!" I call. I here thumping as he comes down the stairs, he runs up to me jumps, knocking me over and begins to like my face multiple times. I laugh, "I missed you to now get off me I got you some food." He gets off me and sits down and stares up at me with his big brown eyes. I get up and throw the piece of bread on the floor for him to eat. I grab a rotten apple and go stand outside, Loki came out to sit beside me. Its a great life I live, I have Loki, A whole house to my self and no one to tell me what to do, even if starve some times 'cause no one leaves any food out for me on their window sills. The farmers also chase me away if I try to get some fresh veggies, I don't understand why they leave it out then get mad at me for taking it, its all going to the feed Ace and Loki charitie after all they'd be doin' a great deed.

Suddenly every thing went to hell. Everyone started screaming, I climbed onto the roof to get a better view. When I reach the top I turn to look at the wall and my jaw drops open and for a few seconds I can't move, im paralyzed in fear. I mutter"Oh crap." The titans are climbing the wall, they are climbing the wall, I snap back into reality and with great agility and speed got to the ground and ran to the ferry yelling to Loki "Come!" For some reason I feal really calm, maybe its because I'm so terrified I don't feal with scared.we board the ferry I'm amazed at how empty it was, after a few more people boarded the ferry left for wall Rose.

Its been five years since I left the Quinta district, me and Loki now live in another abandoned house I believe used to belong to a scout, I found a uniform, the ODM gear and the cloak. I plan to join the scouts later so I'm glad I found it, after years of training, I'm going to join the next expedition by sneaking in and hopefully they won't notice. And maybe I can have some actual human friends, Just three days, I can't wait! I get up and open the chest in the top floor and take out the belts and uniform and put it on, I mess up on the belts and have to restart."I need to do this a lot quicker if i'm going to get out in time to join the expedition" I say to my self angrily. I do this for a few more hours then I take it off and grab the blanket laying on the floor and pull it over me. Seconds later I hear Loki thumping up the stairs and then I feel the him lay down beside me and licks my face I hug him and drift off into sleep.

I wake up early and get the ODM gear on, then I try it out to make sure it works, I'm quickly lifted off the ground I practice moving around the room but stop when Loki wakes up. I take it off and go outside to get some breakfast, I have to be more careful now because there are Mps. I go to the market and see some bread, I quickly take it, then blend back into the crowds before the vendor notices. I get another loaf of bread and some potatoes then I head back home and hide the food. "Come on Loki were going for a walk a nice day out." He barks once and bolts out side, I follow him, we wander around for a long time though it dissent feel that long. I keep walking lost in thought until Loki growled at me tugging on my shirt bringing me back to reality, I notice its dark out already."Oh sorry bud, didn't notice what time it was lets go home, race you!" So we bolt off in the direction of home I arrive there out of breath, Loki sitting at the door, his tongue hanging out looking smug."I'll win next time." I say pushing him gently.I walk into the kitchen and break a loaf in bread in half, gave some to Loki and I ate the rest of it. The I went up stairs and went to bed, one more day till the expedition.

I wake up, my my face feels weird, it feels wet and sticky then I notice a rough thing going over my face. I sit up, completely awake now and realize Loki was liking my face, I laugh. I put the blanket away and go downstairs to eat breakfast, while I was eating it dawned on me in need a horse of I'm going to sneak into the expedition tomorrow, I'll find one tonight. I pace around the kitchen think of things people probably think about be for doing something big, like what if someone notice a me and calls out, what if I miss them or what if they don't even go... I'm so exited by very nervous, I think I have been pacing for hours and Loki is just sitting there watching me then I remember he hasn't eaten yet. I stop passing glad to be given something to do and get him some bread, when he finishes I tell him"I need to go out and see were I can borrow a horse from you coming bud?" Not surprisingly he jumps up and yips exitedly. We set out looking for a horse. Finally I see one, a beautiful, strong black horse, its the one I'll be using tonight. I go home to get some sleep i need to get ready about an hour early tomorrow to get the horse and to get my stuff on. I go into the kitchen and doze off on a rotting chair, when I wake up its still dark which is good, I did not sleep in too late. I get up and head towards were I found the horse yesterday, making sure I don't wake up Loki I'll let him know were I'm going when I get back and that he needs to stay here until I do. I finally get there and I jump the fence and go into the barn and grab a saddle, I bring it out to the chosen horse. I put it on, I don't really know what I'm doing I tend not to think caus' then I worry and get distracted, mainly it gets in the way of doin'. Once I get the saddle on I get on the horse and jump the fence again and ride back to my house. When I arrive and after hiding the horse I come into the house to find Loki laying right in front of the door, I almost stepped on him. I bend over petting his soft fur "Hey bud can ya move please." He lifts his head up sleepily, eventually he moves his whole body beside the door instead of in front and lays down again. I look outside the sky is sort of pink, its almost time to go" Bud, Loki, need to tell ya sometin', I'm goin' to sneak into the scouts, probably won't be back till dark, don't worry I will come back just don't follow me ok." He lifts his head And looks at me and  and makes a whimpering sound, his eyes look a bit more watery. I hug him then go up stairs and get changed, what will happen to him if I don't come bac-NO I will come back and that's that! I go out side and get the horse ready and say my good byes to Loki, then I hop on my horse and head out to join the scouts.
