》Chapter 13《

Volpina didn't really know what to expect next.

But whatever she was expecting, wasn't siting on top of an invisible car.

After running across the rooftops of Paris (which Volpina found to be extremely slippery and would trip every so often), the trio landed on the Mime's car.

"Nice ride." Chat Noir compliments, "But if I were you, I'd make it a convertible."

Volpina looks around but she can't see anything so she just shrugs, confused on what he meant.

The Mime frowns and suddenly speeds up. Ladybug and Volpina go flying and Chat Noir is only able to grab onto Ladybug. Acting quick, Volpina grabs onto the car with all her might, afraid that she'll fly off the car with all the reckless driving. The villain tries to shake the superheroes off but it's no use. He's more focused on something else.

Volpina hoists herself up as the car drives smoothly and trys not to throw up on her new partners.

Ladybug watches as the Mime's focus isn't on them anymore but on the bus with a poster for the new mime show.

"He's one of the actors from the theater group and he's after that bus!" Ladybug informs the two and they nod.

He tries to shake off the trio one last time before making a hard left and exiting the car. Volpina looks at the two in confusion as the car continues to drive.

"We've got to stop this thing!"

Ladybug nods, "On it!"

"Try stepping on the brakes!" Volpina calls out, pointing at where Ladybug's feet are.

Ladybug looks up at the brunette in confusion, "What brakes?"

"Hurry!" Chat Noir says, pointing in front of them as a mother with her child crosses the road.

Ladybug gasps, slams her foot on the invisible brakes and turns the car around saving the family just in time. Volpina sighs in relief as the two run away from danger. A group of people surround the trio, curious on how the superheroes are floating. Volpina suddenly feels all eyes on her but she's not focused on that, her eyes are trained on the family that almost got hit by the car. Suddenly, her head starts to spin and her eyes shows her something.

Two young girls skip down the streets of Italy hand and hand, giggling and chatting.

Suddenly a car come flying down the street and goes towards the two girls but a pair of strong hands pull them out of the way.

"Girls! Watch where you're going! You two could of gotten really hurt! Watch where you're going, okay?"

The first brunette nods, "Yes papa."

The father looks at his other daughter, "Alessandra?"

Alessandra looks up into her father's brown eyes, "Yes papa."

Volpina blinks the memory away and notices that she's on the ground now. The Mime must of mimed something new.

Ladybug turns to her and Chat Noir, "We gotta catch up with the bus before he does!"

Suddenly, Chat Noir puts his arm around Ladybug's waist and puts her arm around his neck.

Ladybug looks at him in confusion, "What are you doing?"

He smiles at her, "Good thing you have friends in high places."

He uses his baton to raise them up and this causes Ladybug to grab onto Volpina's flute so that she can come with them. The brunette gasps as she feels herself being lifted up into the sky.
