It couldn't have been more then an hour before Italy woke up again. It was a short nightmare but Italy could definitely see the disappointed faces of Germany, Japan, Romano, Grandpa Rome and even Holy Roman Empire. He jumped awake. As Italy sat up, he saw his twisted sheets and was aware of his heavy breathing. Italy shivered. Despite America and Poland, he felt so alone, especially now. Italy felt like crying- he wanted to cry to his heart's content- but nothing happened. His loneliness is making him feel numb, rather than making him feel sad. Italy tried to stand up but almost fell over as he felt the room spin. He layed back down and tried to fall back asleep. As he tried to sleep he began to think,

I feel so distant Everyone has left or is leaving me. Even I can tell that Germany is distancing himself from me. Or am I just being paranoid? At least I have somewhat of a person....poor Poland. Lithuania was his light, but that light is being covered by clouds of doubt. And America too...England is getting too close...

Italy reflected, he couldn't help but do it. After all that as happened in last couple of weeks. Soon, he began to drift back into sleep. He slept uneasy for the rest of the night, his dreams being invaded by his disappointed peers.

Italy woke up again, early in the morning. He checked the clock on his phone. It was 5:42am. Italy decided to just get up. Throwing on jeans and a t-shirt, he went out into the garage. Making sure he closed the door quietly, he went to go work on a minor project for the car, even though it wasn't the same.

More time passed then he realized, when America poked his head in the garage.

"Ah! There you are! I thought we could go to a Diner for breakfast, wanna come?" America asked. Italy nodded and stood up. He followed America out.

"I going to clean up, then we can head out." Italy then went to the restroom to go wash his hands off. After he was done he put on his shoes and coat then went by the front door where America and Poland were waiting.

"Ready?" America asked and the other two nodded, "Let's go!"

After driving for about 10 minutes, America parked his car in front of a humble looking diner. He walked in the old lady at the stand greeted him. America smiled and said table for three. She brought him to a booth by some windows that looked out into a deciduous forest. The lady gave them some menus and walked away to get coffee for them.

"So...How are you guys?" America asked.

"I'm good, though I'm still tired from the meeting yesterday," Poland chuckled, trying to lighten the mood.

"Italy, what about you?" America turned to Italy.

"Hm? Oh, I'm okay!" Italy replied.

"How early did you wake up?" America asked but the lady came over and poured America his coffee. Then she asked for their order of drinks. America ordered a sweet tea, Poland (regular) tea and Italy lemonade.

"Around 7 'o clock," Italy lied. He felt like he needed to.

The three countries talked for a little while longer while they looked through the menus.

"America, what the heck is biscuits and gravy?" Poland asked but he had a smile on his face indicating that he's messing around.

"Something popular in the South and for some reason the Midwest...It's really good! That's what I'm probably ordering." America ranted. Poland chuckled,
