Poland woke to his alarm the next morning. The Polish man swiped the dismiss button on his phone, and checked the time. 8:30. He didn't really have much planned today, maybe he'd have the day to himself. Poland unfortunately remembered that he had to meet up with Lithuania later. Poland sighed. For some reason, he was dreading the moment when he sees his face.

"Can't wait..." Poland muttered sarcastically into the pillow. Poland sighed again and sat up. He rubbed the sleep out if his eyes, then went to the bathroom to wash up. He did his usual bathroom routine, then stepped out of the bathroom, changing into his day clothes of a lame pink button up and simple light grey jeans. After he did that, he put on sneakers and grabbed his phone and jacket and left the hotel room.

Poland had no idea where he was headed, maybe he'd wonder around and find a café somewhere. He pushed the elevator button and waited for the elevator. A few seconds later he heard footsteps of someone coming down the hall. He expected it to be a country, but he didn't expect it to be Ukraine, of all people.

"Hello Poland!" Ukraine greeted when she was close enough.

"Hello," Poland responded. The elevator dinged, then opened.

"Mind If I join you?" She asked politely.

"I don't mind," He said, then stepped into the elevator, and Ukraine followed him in.

"So, how are you?" Ukraine asked, one they were both inside. Poland pressed the button to floor 1,

"Pretty good, what about you?"

"I'm well, thanks!" Ukraine paused, knowing that she'd be stepping on dangerous territory. But she was too curious, "How are things going with Lithuania?"

Poland swallowed as the elevator descended. He gave no answer, and when the elevator opened, Poland practically sprinted out the door. Ukraine sighed, and scratched the back of her neck. At least she tried. In all honesty, she was good friends with Poland and she was also incredibly curious as to why Lithuania is going off on him and why he's hanging out with America and Italy. But, at least she knows her place now.

Poland walked quickly out of the Hotel. His phone buzzed in his pocket and played the IPhone jingle. He checked the caller ID before answering. It was Italy.

"Cześć?" Poland asked into the phone.

"Ciao! This is Italy--"

"I figured," Poland interrupted,

"-- And I was wondering if you want to join America and I to mini golf--!"

"Isn't that game for like, old people or parents who want to do something lame with their kids?" Poland asked jokenly.

"It is not for old people or parents with lame intentions! It is a perfectly civilized game for perfectly civilized people with really cool sculptures-- usually!" An outside voice shouted. Poland could only assume that it was America.

"Wait, I was on speaker?" Poland asked after a fit of laughter after America's outburst.

"Er....maybe..." Italy said. Poland gave a final snigger,

"I'll go with you guys, it seems like fun. Better not rain though, I swear to God because I did not bring an umbrella."

"Cool, neither did any of us," America answered from far away, like trying to shout over invisible wind.

"Text me the directions so I fricken know how to get there," Poland said. They said their goodbyes then hung up. A few seconds later his phone buzzed again and he checked the message.
