Jack got his stuff then started to walk outside of the room, still not knowing that Mark was walking toward him.
Mark tapped Jacks shoulder right before Jack opened the door. "I thought that everyone left," Jack thought, confused.
Jack turned around to see Mark, Jack smiles. Mark smiles back.
Mark joins Jack as they start to walk toward the lunch room.
It was pretty silent between the two of them until Jack asked, "I have to ask, why?"
Mark stops and takes a deep breath then says, "I like you. I know it was stupid cause we just met and....."
Jack stops and looks at Mark then says, "It's ok. I......... have to go. Bye"
Jack runs off.
"Stupid Mark," thought Mark while banging his head with a book, " you had to tell him"
Mark continued to go to the lunch room, but he couldn't stop thinking about Jack.
Mark sat down by Felix across Dan and Phil.
"So how has school been so far?" Felix said.
And just like that, everything was normal again. Or it seemed like that, Mark couldn't stop thinking about Jack and he now he made a stupid mistake.
