Haunted by You

Chapter 9

As the lights were flickering , I was about to  screech to the main door, when Derek pulled me aside and told me about Amy's words. We sat there, in the middle of the carpet and shivers were running through our spine, we were as calm as possible until an invisible force, pulled me away from Derek and as a few seconds passed, I was in the air.. I screamed with fear and Derek tried to pull me but another force,  thrashed him to the wall and he fell down bleeding and faint.. I summoned the spirit and I pleaded it to leave us but the invisible force told that we failed to accomplish something.. I closed my eyes and tried to recall my mistakes but there was nothing as I could remember, I replied that it was nothing... The Invisible force told me to open the package left outside. I ran outside and opened the package and there was a note. The force disappeared, I took the package and ran towards Derek he was lying unconsciousness, I tried to pick him up and pulled him aside to the air bed and pulled on his covers.. And I started reading the note... The Bearer of this letter, listen well as this letter is the only way to enter the dead world. If interested come to the godown near the chapel.. If not interested you will be compelled to join,  as you had a demo right now, it's your choice...  I moved away from the package and i started walking up and down the stairs and I had no idea because the people in this world could or is the strongest rather the most powerful person in the world.. I tried calming myself with a hot cup of jasmine tea. The next day morning, Derek woke up feeling startled, and he asked me about the previous night, I looked around and told him that he met with a car accident and that was enough to calm him. He got up from the bed and went to take a hot shower and while coming back he asked me about the note. I  was an idiot i left it in his room that night, i just told him that it was a prank message., but the look on his face seemed unconvincing .. I grinned and left to the kitchen and within 10 minutes  I heard the main door close md Derek was out of the house..............
