Sunshine (Minhyuk x Reader)

You feel a ray of sun hitting your face as you hear some rumbling in your room.
"Wake up beautiful" you hear a raspy voice whisper in your ear, you smile knowing who the owner of the voice was.
"Good Morning Minhyuk" you say as you slowly open your eyes to reveal a smiling Minhyuk
"What?" You ask looking him in the eye trying to imitate the way he was looking at you
"Nothing, just that you're beautiful" he said placing his hand on your cheek rubbing it, you just giggle
"And the miracle that you got up before me?" You asked sitting up, while Minhyuk stood up from the bed
"We have an early schedule today, and I wanted to see your beautiful sleeping face" he said heading to the bathroom, you chuckled, although you were really surprised, since the last 2 years you have been dating him, and 7 months living together, he had never woken up before you.
You got out from bed and while Minhyuk was bathing you washed your face and fixed your hair to then head downstairs to prepare breakfast.

As you were finishing serving the coffee you felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist
"Why so clingy today jagi?" You asked turning your head to meet his
"Hmm just becwause~" he said swaying your body, you giggled
"Yah! You're gonna spill the coffee!" You said chuckling as he let you go, you both sat down and ate breakfast before Minhyuk's phone rang.
"Ye? Ah hyung! Nae, I'm on my way" he said as he hung up and stood from the kitchen table
"You're leaving already?" You asked looking at the clock, which marked 7:45 am
"Early schedule, and apparently we have all day busy" he said leaving the dishes on the sink
"Oh" you sighed as you heard his response
" I'll take you out tonight for dinner, how's that?" Minhyuk said as he hugged you from behind
"Aish, okay" you said placing a kiss on his cheek
"Ok then! I'll see you later then!" He said as he quickly ran to the door grabbing his jacket, you ran after him because he left his phone on the table
"Love you" you said as he quickly pecked your lips mumbling an I love you too before heading out.

It was break time at your workplace when Minhyuk facetimed you, you accepted it
"Noona!" He said showing his breathtaking smile
"Yah! I told you not to call me that!" You said as if you were scolding him
"Haha ye, what are you doing?" He asked while ruffling his hair
"I'm on break right now, and you?" You asked taking a bite from a chocolate bar you had been eating beforehand
"Me and the boys are on stand by"
"Is that (Y/N)?" You heard a voice come near Minhyuk revealing Wonho from the corner of the screen
"Hi Wonho!" You said as you waved at him, he smiled and sat next to Minhyuk
"Hello!" He said waving like crazy, you laughed
"Aish this hyung" Minhyuk said covering his face in embarrassment
"You still love me" Wonho said hugging Minhyuk, you laughed at his reaction
"Not more than I love (Y/N)" Minhyuk said making you blush, Wonho just awed at the cute couple
"Monsta X next" a voice said making both the boys turn left
"Sorry (Y/N) we have to go" Wonho said pouting while standing up
"Send me a kiss~" Minhyuk said as soon as Wonho was out of reach
"Wae?" You asked blushing because you felt eyes on you
"Because if Noona doesn't I won't do well~" Minhyuk said in his childish aegyo, you sighed and kissed the screen
"Aigooo~ Thank you! See you later!" Minhyuk said before ending the call, you sighed and then smiled 'That beautiful dork'.

You entered your house and quickly removed your shoes, it was a tiring day at work. You walked into your living room and let yourself fall down on the sofa to watch T.V.
In the middle of Avengers you heard your phone ring, you quickly got it out your purse and smiled at the caller's id.
"Hello?" You said acting like you didn't know who it was
"Jagi~" you heard Minhyuk cue with excitement
"What is it?" You said chuckling at his actions
"Just to let you know that I miss you aaand dinner at 7 in Lounge" you gasped at the mention of Lounge, you heard it was a very romantic (and expensive) restaurant uptown
"O-ok, but why there?" You asked trying not to sound too oblivious about where you were going
"I can't have a romantic dinner with my beautiful girlfriend?" Minhyuk answered with a bit of a childish tone, you sighed and chuckled
"Yes you can, see you at 7 then" you said shaking your head in defeat of his cuteness
"Okidoki! Love ya!" Minhyuk said before hanging up, you chuckled and mumbled a 'Love ya too' to the phone even though he had already hung up.

You quickly went up to shower and groom yourself, after your hair was dry and you were on your underwear you prepared for the hardest task you were going to have on the day... picking what to wear, you shuffled through your closet and tossed out 3 dresses you found. First you tried on a long flowery crimson dress on and looked at the mirror "Too flowery" you said before taking it off throwing it somewhere in the room; Second you tried on a skinny short black dress on and looked at the mirror, you stared at yourself for a few seconds before taking it off, "Too sexy" you said while walking towards the last option; the last and third dress was a mid-length white dress that was tight at the top and loose at the waist and looked at the mirror, you admired yourself and hummed "Found it!" You said as you spun happily with the choice you made.
You were finally ready, not too much make up on, your (H/L) (H/C) hair on point and a pair of white small heels.
You headed out and called a cab to take you to Lounge.

When you arrived you saw Minhyuk waiting at the door of the restaurant, you were bewildered at how good he looked, he was wearing a black suit with a loose white shirt, he reached the cab and opened it for you and grabbed your hand to help you get out
"Y-you look amazing (Y/N)..." Minhyuk said with a hint of blush creeping on his cheek
"N-not so bad yourself" you said looking down, you both chuckled and went inside the restaurant where the host took you to a reserved table
"You made a reservation?" You asked as Minhyuk pushed your seat slightly as you were seating down
"Yeah... like a month ago" he confessed before sitting down, you looked at him in shock
"I didn't want this night to be taken" he said scratching the back of his neck, you chuckled at his actions and looked at him lovingly, he returned the look before eyeing the menu.

After you finished eating Minhyuk asked for a bottle of wine and two glasses
"Thanks for all of this Minhyukie, but may I ask what's the occasion?" You asked as you sipped on your wine, Minhyuk almost choke at his and laughed it off
"Do you know what day is today?" He asked looking at his phone
"Um... November 23rd, why?" You asked as he stood up and walked next to you, you started getting nervous all of a sudden
"Because... this is the day we met 3 years ago" he said holding your cheek and drawing small circles on it with his thumb
"And (Y/N)...." Minhyuk said kneeling down on one knee, you felt your eyes tear up 'Oh my god', you saw the other members walk in with suits singing White love
"Ever since I met you 3 years ago, you made my life brighter, better and full of love, you were there at good and hard times and every time I needed you with me, so (F/N)... would make me the happiest man on earth by marrying me?" Minhyuk asked as he opened a little burgundy box he took out from his pocket revealing a beautiful ring with a diamond on top, you were covering your mouth while crying
"Y-yes! Yes i do!" You said as you jumped to hug Minhyuk tightly, you heard cheers from the members and clapping from the costumers in the restaurant. You let go from Minhyuk and gave him your hand to place the engagement ring on your finger, you looked at him and saw that he had tears falling down his eyes with a smile on his face, you smiled and kissed him lovingly on the lips.
"I love you Lee Minhyuk" you said as you parted your lips sniffling
"I love you too my fiancée" he said before pulling you back into a tight hug full of love.
