Adam was currently curled up against my side sleeping. After I found out my brother was gonna be gone for the entire weekend, I invited Adam back to my place to hang out.

During lunch we talked about everything. His parents, my family, college, everything.
I found out his parents are rarely home because they're lawyers which makes Adam really upset. But he also likes that he can be little whenever he wants.

I told him about my family too. How my parents are pretty normal and boring. And he already knew about my mean brother.

After lunch I could tell it was his nap time. He kept yawning and slipping into little space. I took him back to his house to get his paci, stuffed animal, and onesie and then we walked to my house.

At one point Adam refused to walk so I had to carry him. I honestly didn't mind at all because he was so soft and adorable pressed against my chest.

"Dada." I heard the small boy say. "Hi buddy." He was just beginning to wake up. "Hmmm me sleepy."

"How can you still be sleepy little one you just had your nap."

"Maybe I just want more cuddles. Daddy?" He asked with a little bit of panic in his voice.
"Yes?"
"Where's Mr lion?? I lost him!"

"Shhh baby boy." I smoothed a lock of hair back from his eyes. "He fell out. I have him right here don't worry." I popped the paci back into his mouth and he sucked happily.

"You're such a good baby." I continued to rub his head and scratch his back softly. Adams eyes drooped while he laid his head on my lap.

"Daddy." He mumbled from behind his paci. "Can I has a baba?"
I nodded and gently removed him from my lap to go back a bottle. My little baby whined and squirmed a bit but eventually settled back down onto the bed.

I finished making it I carried it into him. He put himself sideways on my lap and I fed him the bottle. "Adam you're such a good baby. Daddy is so proud. Good boy."

Adam stared up at me with his wide innocent eyes. He reached his little hand up and touched my cheek. "Hi baby. That's my cheek silly."
Smiling, he finished the last of his bottle. I sat him up and cradled him close.

He seemed sleepy again so I started to rock him back and forth. After the week he had I figured he deserved some sleep. And I could feel myself drifting off too. Adam fell asleep easily and quickly.

While I was laying there I thought about our future together. It didn't seem rational that we had only really talked for the first time a few days ago.

Sometimes when you meet that person you just click. That's what I felt for Adam. I stroked his soft cheek, kissed his forehead, and closed my eyes.
