"Ari, stay still!!!" Diana yelled as she tried to put make up on my face.
"I would, but I'm scared of what I'll look like." I said back.
"Ruuuuddeee!!!"
"Sorry!!!"
"Come here, Josi, it's your turn." Diana called out for Josi.
"Nooo, I think I'm good." she said back with a nervous chuckle.
*Seven make overs later*
"We look like idiots!!" Gracie exclaimed once we saw ourselves in the mirror.
"I call dibs on the bathroom first!!" I announced
"Why would she need-" Melissa started to say, but then realized why.
As soon as everybody noticed they started running to the bathroom, but it was too late. I had already closed and locked the door.
I grabbed my phone out of the front pocket of my sweatpants and checked for any messages. I got nothin'. I don't even know why I need a phone. Nobody ever calls or texts me. At least an iPod would be useful and I could download apps that can call and text if anybody would want to, though I seriously doubt it.
I sent Zayn a quick text asking how he was and proceeded to taking the hideous make up off my face.
Not even ten minutes had passed when I heard someone gasp, from outside the bathroom. Answering my thoughts Lauren spoke out.
"I know where the key to the door is!!!"
Well, you're late.
"What are you waiting for? Go get it!!!" the Diana, who can actually use make up correctly, commanded.
Ohhhh crap. I quickly hid behind the door of the separate toilet, just as I heard a key jiggle in the lock of the silver doorknob. Thank goodness for this bathroom. I never thought it would come in handy this much.
My bathroom had a door in my room and a door outside in front of the long corridor. The door that led to the bathroom, from the outside, opened to the sink and a huge mirror. To the right was a a curtain that opened to three shelves all stocked with personal items that I would need in the bathroom. Then, to the left stood a door which opened to the toilet and shower/tub. When you went in there was another door to the left that opened to my room. Very confusing, I know. But if you were there, then, not so much.
The girls came in from the outside door and I had never been more glad. I, then, slipped out through the door that led to my room, and ran downstairs.
Luckily, in the short time that I had, I managed to get all the make up off my face. I checked my phone once again and saw that I had a missed call from Zayn. I hadn't even noticed my phone vibrating in all that chaos. Well, obviously!! It was vibrating and my pockets were deep. Don't judge me because no matter what, I will never change my phone to one of the ring tones I have. I mean they're so annoying.
I checked the time and saw that it was 8:13pm. I screamed causing the seven girls, that I call my best friends, appear at my side in a blink of an eye.
"Wh-what happened?!" Diana asked out of breath.
"We've missed 13 minutes of X Factor!!!" I yelled, to answer her question, like it was the end of the world.
"Are y-you serious?!" Melissa asked also out of breath.
'Daaaanngg. These girls need to get in shape.' I thought, but didn't dare to say a word.
"Dixie Chick serious." I said quoting the movie Zayn and I had watched before he left.
"Ari, what are you talking about? You don't like country music." Josi asked then stated a well-known fact.
"You obviously haven't seen Pitch Perfect." I mumbled to myself.
"Oh my gosh!!! Forget this, let's just watch the show." Gracie yelled getting inpatient.
And through all this Lauren and Diana looked at us wide-eyed and confused.
