Who knew that being an assassin could be so cool? Me and my bud being assassins in the magic world, wow, who would have expected that? Definitely not me.
Me and my friend Max were in this cool fighting tournament that had three types of fights, wooden dagger fight, normal hand to hand combat and the magic user fight. If you are wondering how magic works this is it,
About 50% percent of the human population have a mana circle that you can open and close whenever you like the rest... well are just normal non-magic users.
So, back to the mana circle, when you open it you see eight slots, in every slot you have one power that you can learn, in one circle you have a chance of learning one out of the ten powers. For example, my ten abilities would be-flight, strength, speed, super jumps, fire bending, shrinking, turning huge, moving things with my mind and making tiny skeleton minions. At any time, I would have been given one of these 10 abilities. There's people who can tell you what the ten abilities in the slot are, so if you really want one specific power from the ten you can start learning until you get it. And that goes for every slot. After some time, you will have all of the 8 abilities. A person has a specific amount of mana, so after using your abilities you lose some mana. So, if you would want to just spam your powers everywhere, bad luck, you can't because your mana will run out. That's about it for the mana circles. Back to the story, me and my friend were in the fighting tournament, I was entering for the hand to hand combat, but he was entering the wooden dagger fight. After a ton of battles, me and him both got the 1st place in our fight modes. When we were dressing in the locker room five guys in black suits came in and shot everyone with sleeping darts except for me Max and the guy who got the 1st place in the magic battles. The people took us and put in a van. And we drove off.
