A/n: all I have to say for today,
"My Body, My choice."
Izzy sat on her bed, thinking yesterday all over again.
"He didn't show up.."
She looks over to the vase of roses that is sitting on her night stand. At the sight of it, more tears escaped her eyes.
"IZZY DARLING!"
Izzy snapped her head toward the door at the sound of her father calling.
She wipes off away her tears, stand up and walks out her room.
"Yes, dad?" Izzy asked when she saw him sitting on the couch with Harley on his lap.
"Just the girl I wanted to see!" Joker said getting up causing Harley to stand up too.
"Sweetie, how do you feel about going out and doing crimes again?" Harley asked her
Izzy tilted her head, confused.
"What you mean? I thought-"
"I've had a changed of heart. I really did." Joker said placing a hand on his chest while smiling
Since the Bank situation, Izzy was banned from going on anymore mission/crimes. It's true, she hasn't been fighting anyone for a while, every since her and Dick started dating in fact. The last person she fought was Batman and her own boyfriend.
"Here you go!" Joker said passing a box with wrapping and a big purple bow on it to Izzy.
Izzy looked at it puzzled before looking at her parents.
"What are you waiting for? Open it!" Joker said while wrapping a arm around Harley who snuggles close to him.
Izzy sits on the the floor criss-crossed and began opening up the box. She unties the bow and rips the wrapper off. She opened it and stopped when she looked inside.
"Well? Do you like it? Your father and I made it for you!" Harley said
Izzy took out her new leather jacket. Half purple, half black, with rhinestones on it and ACE on the back in white letters with rhinestones surrounding it. On the very bottom it says "I'm that girl!"
Izzy looked at her parents, puzzled.
"We have one of our owns!" Harley said holding her leather jacket that is similar to Izzy's but on the bottom it says "I made a beautiful girl"
And Jokers is silk long leather jacket and on the bottom it says "I helped make that girl"
Izzy started tearing up and the sight of the matching jackets. She ran to her parents and cried into their chest.
Joker and Harley hugged her while Izzy breaks down.
She need this right now. All she wanted to tell them is Mama, Papa... he didn't show up.
" So, what do you say?" Joker asked
... I'm their girl...
"Yes."
