I clicked the publish button and closed my laptop. I sighed and looked over to my window.

Ashley wasn't there.

I opened my door and was about to go down the stairs, planning to go shopping for dinner, as Mark had told me to do in the middle of editing, but a few mumbles stopped me.

"I don't know... I don't... pressure.."

I listened as closely as I could, a few words were cut out, but I knew that it was Ashley from her unique voice.

"It's fine, Hals... have to deal... it.."

It was obviously Amy who said that. I've heard her voice many times.

I suddenly got the courage to walk down the stairs, anxious to figure out what their talking about. I know, call me nosy, but Ashley's our neighbor and I'll have to find out a few secrets sooner or later.

I tip-toed down the stairs before walking normally down the steps half-way through. I appeared behind the girls from the couch and grabbed the keys.

I pretended as if I didn't see them and walked right out the front door before Amy stopped me.

"Ooh! Ethan!" Amy jumped up from the couch.

"Yeah?" I said so surprisingly casually.

"Well, Ashley's furniture isn't going to be shipped in until tomorrow afternoon, so she needs some place to sleep, do you mind if she could sleep in your room..?" Amy said grinning.

"Well- Uh- No, I don't mind at all!" I felt my cheeks starting to heat up.

"Thank you! I really appreciate it!" Ashley sighed in relief and made her way over.

"I thought that it would have been really awkward about that question.."
Ashley's cheeks seemed to redden a bit.

"It's alright, really, I don't mind."

"Where are you going, Ethan?" Amy suddenly questioned.

"I'm heading out to grab dinner, why?" I then got a bit scared and confused, as Amy had that look on her face.

Amy turned to Ashley.

"Is it okay if I tag along?" Ashley then asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine with that." I gave her a grin and waited for her as she picked up her jacket.

I couldn't help but stare at her when she slipped her jacket on. She was just so beautiful and flawless I swear.

"Ready?"

I snapped out of my thoughts and blushed in embarrassment.

"Fuuucck yeah, I'm hungry!" I terribly covered up.

Ashley laughed the most adorable giggle with me trailing behind her.

~~~
"AYE AYE FUCK PANTS!" I yelled throughout the store in Isle 6 where a worker was behind us.
Ashley covered her mouth and silently laughed.
Ashley and I turned around just as the worker faced us.
"Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?" Ashley questioned out loud once the worker turned to the shelve on his side.
"FUCK FUCK FUCK PANTS!" I yelled out again only to gain looks from customers around us and another look over to out direction from the worker.
(Real quote from ethan xD also a little funny moment in this chapter cuz y not homie)
"Okay, truth or dare?" Amy directed at Mark.
We finished our dinner that Amy and Mark made with the stuff Ashley and I bought, and like the adult-children we are, we're playing truth or dare.
"Truth." Mark states, not taking the risk.
"Have you ever broken into school?" Amy said as if she planned it.
"Yes.." I slightly hung my head.
"You have?" Ashley turned to Mark as if I just said that he was fucking pregnant.
"IT WAS ONE TIME!" He laughed.
"Okay, Ashley, truth or dare?" I rubbed my hands together evilly.
"Truth..?" Ashley kinda asked.
"Tell us something that might surprise us."
"Well, back in high school, Amy's ex-boyfriend cheated on her and she asked me to beat him up... But I didn't know she was joking." Ashley and Amy laughed together of the memory they shared.
"Wow.. RESPECT!" Mark slapping his palm against Ashley's
I went in for a high-five like Mark did and she accepted it.
"Damn, son, that hurt!" I rubbed my hand.
Ashley laughed.
"Awh, did I hurt da lil' blue boi?"
"Yes you did, NOW BOW DOWN BECAUSE YOU HURT THE BLUE BOI."
Ashley playfully pushed me while out of the corner of my eye I see Amy whisper something into Mark's ear.
I brushed it off and turned back to Mark.
"Okay, Mark your turn!" I said a bit too enthusiastically.
"I dare you to-" Mark started to say,
"Wait what? I need to choose! You can't choose for me!" I say frighteningly.
"Fine, Truth or dare?" Mark say grumbly.
"Truth." I immediately say.
"Awh you're no fun! You chose truth twice in a row!" Mark pouted while holding up two fingers to symbolize the amount.
"Do I have to?" I whine.
"Yes, Stop whining!" Ashley laughed.
"Fine." I grumble once more before Mark told me his dare that he had in mind.
"I dare you to.... jump into the pool!"
I sighed in relief I honestly thought that he was about to dare me into kissing Ashley. Cheesy.
"Okay, not as bad as I thought!" I said casually.
"Why, what would you think would happen?" Mark smirked.
"Uhh, Well- Uh.. Nothing..?" I stuttered.
Mark soon dropped it, leading us outside to where he pool was.
"Now that I think of it, this is he worst." I say.
I slowly walk up to the diving board, and climb the small steps.
"WHOO!" I hear the three yell.
"DO A BACKFLIP!" I recognized as Mark's voice.
I gave a small grin and faced the bushes behind me.
I gave a small jump, pushing myself backwards.
"ITS SO FUCKING COLDD!!" I yell immediately rising above the water.
Their laughs echoed through the night, but one stood out to me.
Damn her laugh is cute.
