Chapter 4: Eve

I landed on top of Kuro, in my normal form. Kuro did also change to his human form, crushed under my from. "Kuro, are you okay?" Mahiro asked, helping me of him. "Yeah yeah," He mumbled, sticking his hands in his pockets. "(Y/n), are you okay?" She asked, as I nodded. "So how did it go?" I asked, smirking. "Well," She mumbled, blushing. Mahiro blushed too, as I saw Kuro rolling his eyes. "Your so cute," I smiled, transforming into my animal form. I went inside her backpack, taking a bag of chips. 

"Azuna?!" Someone yelled, to high. I covered my ears, as I felt Azuna running. She hugged the person, as the person hugging back. "How did it go?" The friend asked. "Yuki," Azuna mumbled, as Yuki laughed. "I was just kidding," Yuki laughed, hitting Azuna on the shoulder. "So, do you want to come with us to a restaurant?" Yuki asked. "Well, I don't know. Is Mahiro going?" Azuna asked, shuffling her feet. "I think so," Yuki mumbled. "Then I'm going," Azuna said.

After the school was finished, they went to a restaurant. Me and Kuro changed to our human form and sat on a table close to theirs. "So does your contract go out soon?" Kuro asked, eating his ramen. "Yeah," I mumbled. I payed with the ramen, until I heard someone yelling. "(Y/n)?!" Azuna yelled, as I sighed. I looked over and saw my other brother going trough the window. "You know you could use the door?" I asked, standing up. Kuro stood in front of Mahiro, and I stood in front of Azuna. 

"Ah, long time no see," He said, smiling. "I thought that I wouldn't see you before in hell, what happened?" I asked, smirking. "Aw, you were always so mean towards me," He said, hugging himself. "Yeah, because you were always hitting on me," I growled, gripping my dagger. "(Y/n), what's happening," Azuna asked, as Lily saw her. "Your standing in my way," He growled, glaring at Azuna.

"Lily," Kuro growled. "Ah, your here too," Lily smiled, appearing beside me. He wrapped an arm around my waist. I was about to stab him with my dagger, but he gripped my arm. "That was not nice," He smiled, glaring at me. "(Y/N)!" Azuna yelled, afraid. "Don't be afraid," Mahiro comforted her. 

Then Azuna did something I never thought that she would do. She ran past Mahiro and Kuro, and took her hand in my mouth. Her hand gazed my teeth, and it started to bleed. A strong chain appeared, linking me to her. I felt more powerful than ever, and pushed Lily away from me. Kuro threw him across the room, as people screamed and ran away. "Why?" I asked Azuna. She looked at me with a confident look. "You needed to be stronger," She explained. Kuro looked amused, until I threw a brick at him. 

"Hey, what did I do?" He asked, rubbing the spot I hit him on. "You didn't do anything when Lily touched me," I cried, tears dripped down my cheeks. Kuro widen his eyes, as Azuna hugged me. "Are you okay?" She asked, as I laughed. "I should be asking you," I mumbled, as everything got black. I feel so useless, it's like dying again.

I woke up in Azunas bed, with her sleeping beside me. "I feel like shit," I mumbled, stepping outside of the bed. "Oh, your awake," Kuro said, standing there in his regular outfit. "What are you doing here?" I asked, as he shrugged. "I'm following my eve," I said, going to the living room. The room smelled like food, and perfume. I saw Mahiro cooking and Kuro sat on the couch. "It's good to see that your okay," Mahiro smiled, but I ignored him. "Why?" I asked, sitting down on a chair. "What?" Mahiro asked, but I could see that he knew what I meant. 

"We took you here and treated your wounds," Kuro explained, eating chips. "What wounds?" I asked, as I felt a stinging pain on my shoulder. "It's surprising that you didn't notice that Lily burned you," Kuro sighed. "You didn't have to treat me," I mumbled, laying my head down on the table. "Kuro is sorry that he didn't do anything," Mahiro explained, setting food beside my head. "He hate to say that he's sorry," Mahiro whispered. "Yeah, I know," I mumbled. 

I looked up at the food, and saw that me made soup. "Hey, I want to ask Kuro about something," I said, turning around to meet his gaze. "At that day when you found me at my grave, why did you bring flowers?"
