Luna's POV of Chapter 2--
I felt the fog over my mind lift and the room stop spinning. Opening my eyes, I felt piercing light hit my face and I immediately closed them. I was way too tired to be even thinking about moving right now. I attempted to pull my arms to my chest and curl up, but something cold and metal stopped me. It felt like something metal and circular was enclosed around my wrist, stopping me from moving. Groaning, quite loudly, I opened my eyes and glared at the object keeping me from my warm and happy dreams. I saw a handcuff.
A handcuff.
A freaking. Hand. Cuff.
Oh, they didn't.
Sitting up in bed, I also saw noticed it wasn't my bed. Or my room. I thought back to what happened, and why I was here. I remembered the guys, the chloroform, the kidnapping, and a lot of stick whapping. I tried to pull my wrist out to no avail. Groaning again I thought to myself, 'It's way too freaking early to be in pain.' I then closed my eyes and looked away as I dislocated my wrist.
If you've never purposefully dislocated your wrist, I'll give you tid bit of advice.
Don't. It hurts. A lot.
After that, I pulled it out and popped it back. Hissing in a breath as the pain shot through my arm, I looked around. I tried to piece together all that happened. We must be in our kidnappers home.
Wait. We? Why did I think that? Who else was here?
My brain was still waking up with the rest of me when I remembered everything. Angel had been kidnapped as well.
Some sexy guys were gonna die tonight!
Shooting out of bed, I ran to the door and stood there thinking. It couldn't be unlocked... Could it? I had to try. Gripping the doorknob, I gave myself the benefit of the doubt and turned it. I heard the click as the door cracked open slightly. They left it open?!? They must be the worst kidnappers to have ever graced this Earth! I did better kidnapping Angel and I didn't even want to hurt her! Stepping out, I said more to myself than anything,
"They left the door open!" I looked in front of me and saw a slightly frazzled looking Angel coming out of the door across the hall. She was still dressed the same way as yesterday with her navy blue, "Nerd and Proud" tee shirt, leather jacket, boot-cut jeans, and black combat boots.
"Did you pop your wrist out of place?" I asked her, already knowing that she wouldn't hurt herself if she could help it. She shook her head and I muttered, "I did." confused slightly. How did she get out then? She pulled a bobby pin out of her hair causing some to fall into her face. Ah. I just nodded. I met her eyes, and suddenly her 'ok exterior' came crashing down. She looked on the verge of tears.
Oh yeah, some sexy bastards were gonna die.
I pulled her into a hug, knowing full and well how much she hated them, but it was all I could do.
"Don't cry, Angel. That's exactly what our kidnappers would want. Don't cave. We need to be strong, alright Angle?" Of course, I had to use her old nickname. I was trying to cheer her up. She pulled away from me, my arms falling to my sides, and she nodded. I saw the tears that threatened to spill, but she forced them down. I knew how much Angel hated crying and she wouldn't do it in front of anyone if she could help it. Esspecially not after 'he who shalt not be named'.
I swear, if I ever saw him again, I would skin him alive and scoop out his eyeballs with a rusty, metal, spoon.
"We should find a way out of here." I said, my logic breaking my own train of thought, consisting mainly of murderous thoughts involving him. So how to get out of here? That's the million dollar question... Thinking... Thinking... Thinking... "Maybe if we wander around for a bit we can find a way out..." I started, but Angel cut me off.
