We reach the counter, me standing a ways behind Viktor as he walks up to it.
"Hi." He says to the lady smiling. "I'll have one room, two beds please."
I breathe out in relief and slight disappointment as she looks through her computer.
"Oh.." She says, biting her lip nervously. "We're packed. I'm sorry. We only have a room with one king sized bed left."
My eyes widen and my heart starts to beat faster. I see Viktor glance back at me with a light red blush over his cheeks and nods at the woman.
"I'll take that one. Thanks."
I jump back and try to calm my heart. I'm sharing a bed with him?!
She gives Viktor the key and we start walking towards the room with our number on it. I can see Viktor looking down at the ground with his hands in his pockets and I blush.
Dammit.
We reach the room and he unlocks the door, letting us into our somewhat large room with one large bed sitting in the middle. The blush that I had on my face becomes much darker and I look over to see Viktor's is blushing as well.
"U-uh, yeah. Make yourself comfortable.." He says, clearing his throat. I nod and bite my lip, walking over and sitting down on the bed. Viktor locks the door and walks over as well, sitting down on the opposite side.
It falls silent for awhile.
Just a complete, uncomfortable and utter silence.
"U-uh, Yuri?" Viktor mumbles.
"Mmm?" I respond, trying not to allow him to hear the shakiness of my tone.
"Why were you crying back there?"
My eyes widen and I clench my fists.
"S-s-stomach ache." I say, nervously laughing.
"Then why were you calling my name? And talking about our kiss?"
My eyes shoot open in surprise and I stand up, looking at the ground.
"I have to use the bathroom." I say, starting to walk off when he stands up and runs towards me, grabbing my wrists and pushing me against the wall gently.
"V-viktor?" I say, staring into his eyes but offering no resistance.
"Tell me the truth." He whispers, staring deep into my eyes. "Why were you crying?"
"I-I already told you." I say, looking away from his gorgeous blue eyes.
"No, Yuri. I want the truth. Because I care about you and know you well. This is how you act when you're lying."
I lower my eyelids and stare off next to him, but not into his eyes. "I-I can't tell you that.." I whisper, the same lump forming in my throat as before.
"Why not, Yuri?" He asks softly, kneeling down to look up into my eyes.
"I.." I say, a tear falling down my face. "I just can't."
He stares at my face with one of the softest expressions I've ever seen him express on his face.
"If you're questioning yourself.." He says, keeping his voice gentle. "Maybe this will be your answer, beautiful."
My eyes widen at his words as he slowly leans forward, ever so gently pressing his soft, sweet lips onto mine. I'm shocked for a moment but lean into the touch, wrapping my arms around his neck.
