Chap 4. -Lucas learns the TRUTH

Lucas: *leans forward towards the table* about what?...

Maya: *bites her lip* it's hard to say..

Lucas: Maya Penelope Hart Matthews. Tell me right this instance.

*AUDIENCE LAUGHS*

Maya: Shut the f@!# up Friar, this is serious!

Lucas: And I don't sound serious?

Maya: Whenever you open your mouth, it's all hee-haw hahurrr

Lucas: PSht and you think you're soo funny! *chuckles*

Willow: *starts crying*

Maya: No no Willow, don't cry!

Lucas: *looks down at Willow* alright lets cut to the chase

Maya: Yeah.. 

Lucas: I'm such a proud uncle *smiles and puts his right hand in his jacket pocket*

Maya: Yeah.. *her voices lightens down*

Lucas: Why'd you call me here? It's 11 pm, I'm supposed to be at home with Riley and Madison.. and you're supposed to be at home with Josh. 

Maya: There's a reason.. and I'm just afraid to tell you

Lucas: Maya's scared? *laughs*

Maya: *looks into his eyes* it's not a joke

Lucas: *looks up and makes eye contact* oh. 

Maya: Friar, promise me what I'm about to tell you stays between us? and doesn't leave us?

Lucas: *pauses and thinks* yea Maya.. now you got be a bit scared..

Maya: Come closer Friar, for what I'm about to tell you, scares me as well.

Lucas: *gets up and pulls a chair next to Maya and sits down next to her*

Maya: *puts her hand on his thigh and moves her lips by his ear closing her eyes*

Lucas: *feels anxiety and looks down at Willow*

Maya: *her lips touch Lucas' right ear*

Lucas: *his voice gets softer* Maya what is it?

Maya: *whispers* I'm scared..

Lucas: Why are you scared? *puts his hand over Maya's hand*

Maya: *whispers in his ear* Josh isn't Willow's father.

Lucas: *looks up at her* what? Then who is?!

Maya: *her eyes get watery as she looks into his eyes*

Lucas: No Maya.. No

Maya: *nods her head and mouths the word* you

Lucas: *gets up* How the fuck is that possible? Stop trying to prank me!

Maya: *cries* it's this late and you think I'm playing with you?! I'm not joking not now..

Lucas: *sighs and sits back down* when did this happen.. how did this happen? I don't remember a thing.

Maya: I think it was the night where our drinks were drugged...

Lucas: Oh no... 

Maya: This is why i was scared to tell you.. or anyone else

Lucas: But you and Josh had sex

Maya: Well I did some research on it, and I'm guessing we did it first and then Josh messed up the child..

Lucas: You're doing homework now? This can't be good..

Maya: No time for jokes

Lucas: I just can't believe it.. 

Maya: *leans her head on Lucas' shoulder* I don't know what to do..

Lucas: *kisses her cheek*

Maya: *moves her head up and looks into his eyes*

Lucas: *looks into his watery eyes*

*they both end up leaning in and having a deep kiss*

Willow: *starts crying again*

Lucas: *backs away and wipes Maya's tears* does Josh know?

Maya: No.. I'm afraid of ruining our relationship

Lucas: Don't tell Josh, I won't tell Riley..

Maya: It's going to be hard keeping it to myself... and that kiss? That's considered cheating..

Lucas: I know, thanks to Willow we probably would've had another child

*AUDIENCE LAUGHS*

Maya: *giggles* you're too funny, I'm still scared..

Lucas: Don't be.. You have Josh. Just memory erase it from your mind, believe that Josh is Willow's father, not me

Maya: I'll try.. 

Lucas: Good *kisses Willow's forehead and Maya's forehead and get up* I should really be heading out now, it's pretty late now.. need a ride?

Maya: Yes please *gets up*

*They both get into Lucas' car and he drives Maya home*
