I shrieked, yes that's right... the great Annabeth chase shrieked. I had a reason... there was... there was a... a... SPIDER. "SPIDER!" I shrieked, people looked up confused while London and her friends were up on tables.
"Where? Where?" Londen screamed.
"What's going on?" Percy asked, looking around confused.
"Spi-SPI-SPIDER!" I cried in agony, Percy nodded.
"It's okay Wise Girl, just get down from the juice bar and I'll kill it for you" he said, I nodded and slowly got down. The spider was running towards me but Percy stepped on it before it could get to me.
"Thanks Kelp Head," I said, hugging him.
"What was that all about?" Cody asked, walking up to us.
"Annabeth is afraid of Spiders," Percy stated.
"Why?" Cody asked.
"Nosy much?" I asked, grabbing Percy's head and marching us away. "He's getting suspicious," I warned.
"I know that Annabeth, but I dont know how I can get him off the trail..." Percy replied.
"Act normal, if we see any monsters we scream and run away... it would help knock the monsters off our trail as well" I said, he kissed me on the cheek and smiled.
"Have I ever told you how brilliant you are?" he asked.
"You could stand to do it more often," I replied, he smirked and backed up.
"I'm going to go tell the others... before another monster attacks or something" he said, running off in the other direction. I walked back to my cabin and there were tons of people in here.
"What are you all doing here?" I asked.
"Tutoring for Roman and Greek stuff," said Zack.
"Ok.... Thalia I know your in here, come on up and start teaching them about some... Greek stuff. Like Artemis's hunters instead of daughters." I said, Thalia stood up and made her way to the front of the room.
"Let's begin," she sighed, I walked out of the room to go get the others.
15 minutes later
"I'm back!" I said, walking into my room with everyone else. Artemis and Poseidon insisted that they should come to. Artemis turned into an adult though so no one recognized me.
"Who are they?" asked Bailey.
"That's Paul Jackson... Percy's dad" I said, everyone looked at Percy and he waved a hand.
"What about the woman?" asked Zack.
"That's my Aunt.... Amy!" I said, they looked at her and she waved just like Percy did.
3 hours of boring tutoring later!
"Thank's for coming!" I said as people filed out the door, I followed onto the deck when I heard screams coming from Bailey who had been picked up by a cyclops. I shrieked, this was not good and we arent allowed to blow our cover. Everyone was screaming and ducking but when the cyclops saw me he set bailey down and grabbed me. I beat on his hand. "LET GO OF ME!" I shreiked, I bit his hand and he let go on instinct. I scrambled away and joined behind the towels with Bailey.
"What is that?" she asked.
"I dont know," I replied. "It's some sort of mythological creature... I think," I told her.
"If it's mythological then it's a cyclops... but it's mythology, it's not... real, right?" she asked.
"How am I supposed to know?" I asked.
"Well... Um... I dont know" she said.
"Exactly," I stated.
"What's going- AHHHH OH MY FORGE WHAT IS THAT?" Leo shrieked. I motioned him over here.
"Nice acting" I whispered in his ear.
He gave me a thumbs up and whispered "Team Leo, Team Leo" Needless to say I hit him in the arm. When I looked over I saw my mom and Apollo fighting it off, but no one was really paying attention. It turned into dust and was swept away in the wind. In a flash the gods were gone and I peered over once again.
"It's gone!" I shouted gleefully. Everyone started cheering and jumping around.
"What if there's more?" asked Bailey.
"We can pray that there isnt.... maybe the gods saved us," I said jokingly.
"What do you mean gods?" she asked.
"I hate it when I have to explain jokes," I muttered, "Well... it looked like it was from Greek mythology and the gods are from greek mythology. So I joked that maybe they came down and stopped it or something. It's not like their real though," I said, my fingers crossed behind my back so the gods would know I didnt mean it.
"Oh," she stated, walking off.
"Leo what are we going to do, we just cant sit by as these monsters attack the ship... can we?" I asked.
"It's not good for them to know, when the gods decide that the mortals are ready then we will..." Leo said.
"That has GOT to be the most sane and serious thing you have EVER said," I remarked.
"Do you know how HARD that was?" he asked.
"Not really," I replied.
"Whatever, ima go to my room. I walked up to the railing on the side of the boat soon joined by a healed Percy, who no longer had a broken leg.
"What a beautiful night for sea gazing," he said, putting his arm around me.
"Dont you mean star gazing?" I asked.
"No... I mean sea gazing," he said, motioning to the sea. He was right it was beautiful.
"It's beautiful Percy, your father must be in a really good mood" I said.
"Or... I am," he replied, he flashed me a smile and I leaned into him. Maybe this trip would be half bad.
