***Hope's P.O.V.***
"Ugh, I can't believe it," Luna growled, furrowing her eyebrows "How can he be such an ass?"
I sighed "It's not like it's a surprise, everyone knows he is a player." I said truthfully as I opened my locker to get my stuff before heading to class.
"You know what I think you should do?" Belle always came up with the plans "You should act like you don't care and igno-"
She was cut off by Nash that was in a hurry to get to History class "Hurry up guys, I heard Mr. Smith is not in a good mood. Talk less, run more"
He walked past us as Luna and Belle followed him. "Meet you guys there" I shouted grabbing my History book and closing my locker.
Suddenly, I felt something warm around my waist and turned to see what--who it was.
"Hey, you" Vince said with a smirk.
"Bye, you" I removed his disgusting hands from my body.
The boy gave me a confused look "I thought you liked me, since..." he winked "our moment at the party".
Disgust. That was all I felt towards him now. Along with the anger I was trying to cope with.
He smirked and leaned in. Before I even noticed my hand was slapping his face and my thoughts couldn't be contained anymore "You're stupid. Do you really think you can go around making people believe you actually like them with your empty promises and leading them on? You can't just kiss every girl you see just because you're bored or something. Listen, I don't know what goes on in that head of yours but I'm pretty sure I really DON'T want to know. So if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go to class so I can get a proper education. Besides, I would never want to fail the year...like you did"
He was shocked and I could see that that last argument really got to him since he gulped and just stood there while I walked away. Good.

"Hey Hope" I turned to see Henry calling me as I was on my way to the parking lot.
"Oh, hi Henry" I smiled.
"Can you give me a ride home? My mom wont be able to pick me up and she left me here in the morning" He said as we walked side by side going to my car.
"Sure" I told him and opened my car to get in as he did the same. I turned on the radio and started driving, once we fastened our seat belts.
"Are you going tonig- wait, of course you're going. It's your house" He corrected himself and ran a hand through his hair.
"What's at my house?" I asked not knowing what he was talking about.
"Dinner" I looked at him with a confused expression and turned to look at the road again. "Your mom invited my parents and Nash's parents to have dinner at your place today; along with Nash, Alice and I, of course"
"Right" I giggled, I had already forgotten about that... "Can I ask you something, Henry?"
"Anything, princess" I blushed at the sound of this word, I just hope he didn't realize it, since I was looking straight ahead. Memories of kindergarten flashed as I remembered he used to call me that when we were little.
"Why did you sit with us today?" I referred to when he sat with Nash, Luna, Belle, Aiden (whom had recently joined our crew) and I at the cafeteria.
"Just thought you guys would be a good company" He answered.
"And what's your verdict?" We were arriving at our building.
"I'm just gonna give you a hint and say I'll be sitting with you guys tomorrow" He smiled as I parked my car at the garage.

"Well, hello guys, come on in. Dinner will be ready soon" My mom said, opening the door as my dog Beauty jumped in Henry's lap making him stumble.
Henry's parents went to the kitchen to help Sara as I sat on the couch with Alice and Henry.
"Girl, how have you been? It has been way too long since we hung out" Alice smiled.
She was a year older and a really sweet person. Alice was one of those popular girls that was nice to everyone and the first one to know about the gossips and rumors...and spread them.
"I've missed you. How is everything?" I asked.
"Well, you know...new boyfriend and all..." She giggled "Wait, I have to show you guys something" Alice grabbed her phone and started looking for something.
Henry and I exchanged confused looks and turned to her again.
"Here it is. Girl, I had no idea you were such a savage" She showed us a video. A fucking video that someone recorded of me insulting that jerk.
"Woah, Hope. That's some attitude, right there" Henry said, surprised as I blushed. He smirked and mumbled under his breath "I like it"
I could feel the redness take over my face and quickly asked "You guys want something to drink?" , changing the subject as they followed me to the kitchen.
"Mom, is Nash coming or what?" I noticed that neither Nash or his parents were there.
"Nash's cousin is going to move to the city, so they have to take care of some stuff and couldn't come" She answered while setting the table.
"Wait... Is Theo going to move here?" I said with a grin.
Theo was the most amazing guy EVER. I have know him ever since I've known Nash and we were great friends. He would always help me with my homework since he was beyond smart. He was also my awkward first kiss that turned out to be just for the experience, since we continued to be really good friends. The best part is that he is a ginger; and let's face it... gingers are AWESOME. Every single ginger already has my heart. He was just...Theo.
"Apparently" My mom giggled.
"Yaaay" I jumped up and down in happiness.
Once I had stopped my celebration I noticed a different look in Henry's eyes. A look I still had to find the meaning behind. He had furrowed eyebrows and sort of a death glare... wait...is he...jealous?
