Monday came and I still had thoughts about Friday night.
I was zoning out when I bumped into someone, Aiden.
"Ouch, watch out" he said and looked at me "Oh, I'm sorry Hope, I didn't see that it was you".
"That's okay, my bad" I said.
Aiden studied in my class and he was really lazy, and by that I mean, REALLY lazy. He never studied for anything and he always stayed at school after classes, when we had vacation because he had to make up for all the tests that he had failed and as more unbelievable as it sounds, he always approved the finals, he would always approve the year, so I guess he was intelligent but he just didn't want anyone to know that. He also was really childish and made fun about anyone or anything. I have to admit that the guy also liked to flirt with every girl that crosses his way. I believe that deep down he knows that someone can discover another Aiden, the cute, romantic and sensible Aiden, but until now he couldn't find that special someone.
"Have you seen the new project that we're going to do?" He asked.
"No, what project?" I said not knowing what project he was talking about.
"Apparently we'll have to do a project for the fair and-" He was interrupted when the bell that signaled that the classes were going to start.
We ran upstairs and entered the class at the same time that our teacher arrived.
Mrs. Melanie started to explain what was our project about and what we would do: "Our school's proposal is to do sort of a fair during the next two weeks where you have to make a project about a theme, the themes are going to be given to you and we'll separate you in groups. Each group will have a theme and will work with something different."
She wrote the themes on the board so we could pick one.
"Geometry.
Anatomy.
Geography.
Chemistry.
Medicine.
Music.
Astrology.
Biology.
History."
"I'll give you a paper so you can write down what you want to do. Us, teachers will pick in which group you'll get in. I'm sorry but I have to inform you that not everyone will be satisfied in this situation"
She handed me a piece of paper and I wrote down:
"Hope Nichols-Medicine"
I've always imagined going to college and studying Medicine. I wanted to be a doctor and take care of children. Cuz after all, they are adorable.
After everyone handed the teacher their papers she said "Okay, now you may remain to your normal classes and by the rest of the day, we'll let you know what theme you'll be working on and group you'll be in."

By the end of the day the teacher put a list of groups with the respective names below the themes.
I searched for my name:

Yay, I'm exactly where I want to be...wait...where is...
"MUSIC

-Luna Simmons
-Vince Newman
-Nash Carpenter
-Aiden Samuels
..."
Okay, not exactly with who I want to be but I'm with Belle so that's okay.
"Hey, you're with me!" Belle exclaimed "But I wanted the music theme"
"Oh no, I wanted medicine..." We heard Vince complaining a bit far from us.
"Wait...HOPE, I HAD A FREAKING BRILLIANT IDEA!" Belle said excited.
"And what would that be?" I asked her curiously.
"Maybe, I can change groups with Vince. Since he wants medicine and I want music. And you want to be with him, of course." She said waiting for my answer.
"But I can't understand why do you want to go to the music group" I said.
"Well...maybe I have a crush on someone in that group..." She said with shyness.
Okay, the ones that we know...it can't be Nash because he's Luna's property. Wait...AIDEN.
"DO YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON AIDEN??" I screamed.
She put her hand over my mouth "Great, I think even China could hear you".
"Sorry, but does that mean you do have a crush on him?" I whispered.
"Um...yeah..." She said uncertainly.
"Okay, Luna and I are going to be your cupids okay? We'll help you with your happiness" I declared
"If you can, then I'll appreciate it" She smiled "But can I change groups with Vince now?".
You know what, that's a great idea.
Belle's a genius, she's always been a genius, in every way, she was really smart and she had the higher grades of the year but no one dared calling her a nerd. She was one of my best friends, like I've already said, and I could count on her for everything. Every time that I freaked out she told me to calm down because everything was going to be okay. The girl was an amazing soccer player and participated in every school championship doing everything that she could do, actually, she played every single sport wisely and she always won no matter the conditions. The only thing that bothered me about her was that she was absolutely selfless and always put others' happiness in front of hers, me and Luna had already told her that she has to be happy to make people happy.
I really wish that we could help her at least with her love life, I just want her to be happy.
"You can try" I finally answered, talking about the change of groups with Vince.
"I will" she said leaving and going to talk to Vince.
She came back a few minutes later and said "He agreed, the only thing that we have to do now it's talk to Mrs Melanie".
Belle went after our teacher and I went to the drinking fountain and leaned in to drink some water. When I looked around and saw Vince standing next to me.
"Hi there" he said "apparently, we'll be spending the next two weeks together".
"Oh, that's sucks..." I said joking.
"Ouch, my heart" He giggled sarcastically putting his hands against his chest.
He's so cute when he smiles...
