I hate to say this and be all optimistic, but Aunt Jaz isn't the worst. I mean to be given a name like Jasmine, you have to be amazing. But I miss my parents so much, and I am so not happy to start at my school. Oh well, Here we go!
"Miss Sophie?" The lady at the desk asks. "Yes mam?" "Here are your classes, if you need anything we are here for you, we know how hard this can be." "Um....thanks." I walk out. Being sophomore is hard enough, now that all of this has happened and I'm at a new school, well I can just give up hope. " Hey, are you the new kid?" I look up. Woah. Wooaahhhh. He had blonde hair that framed his face so well, and he has these adorable brown puppy dog eyes, eyes that I could never forget. My dads eyes. "Hey, ya I'm the new kid, and a little lost too." He smiled. Well there goes my confidence. "I'll help you find your first class. Can I see your schedule?" "Sure." I give him the schedule and he smiles. "Ms. Lane, that's my first class too! Come with me." A class with him? Yes!! We walk into class. "Oh hi! Class we have a new kid. Miss Sophie Mayer, will you like to introduce yourself?" "Um no mam, I'm really sorry." I whisper so she's the only one who can hear. She acts like she didn't hear a thing and tells everyone to turn to page 394. The boy from earlier gives me a questioning look. I really need to overcome my shyness. Oh well, at least he was worried about me! Maybe this year will be bearable after all.
And it was. This was the year I met Will.
