Chapter 6

Cloe's POV

After a really boring wait for my shift to be over Jimmy finally showed up signaling my shift was over Thank God!

"Hey Jim! How's it going?" I greeted my coworker

"Hey C! it's been alright."

"Nice! Well have fun on your shift try not to die of boredom like I almost did." I joked

"Haha ill try not to see ya C!"

"See ya Jim!"

With that I walked out into the employees locker room and changed out of my uniform and gathered my stuff. Since it was only about 4:30 in the afternoon I decide to hang around the mall for a while and look around shops.

After about half an hour walking around I stop by a yogurt stand and order some frozen yogurt. I take a seat at a table to enjoy my yogurt. I start looking around spotting a few people here and there saying hi to a few people I know. Half way through my yogurt my phone starts to ring.

"I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed

Get along with the voices inside of my head

You're trying to save me, stop holding your breath

And you think I'm crazy, yeah, you think I'm crazy

I wanted the fame, but not the cover of Newsweek

Oh, well, guess beggars can't be choosey

Wanted to receive attention for my music

Wanted to be left alone in public. Excuse me

For wanting my cake and eat it too, and wanting it both ways

Fame made me a balloon 'cause my ego inflated..."

"Hello?"

"CLOE!!! Hey! How have you been? It's been so long!"

Its her What could she want?

"Uh Hey Lia... I've been good how bout you?.. uh yeah it has... how did you get my number anyway?"

Your probably wondering who this Lia is right? Well I guess its story time then....

It was the first day of kindergarten I was only 4 years old going to 5 I was so excited to start school and make some friends. Once at the school I was to shy to talk to anyone so my excitement was gone the moment I realized I would be alone at recess...but then something unexpected happened one of my classmates came up to me and started talking to me..

"Hi! I'm Lia!"

I just looked up at her without saying anything for a while... "Uh...Hi I'm Cloe..." I quietly said

"Want to go play at the playground?"

Before I could even Answer she grabs my hands and pulls me towards the playground to this speaker phone thing were one person stand on one side of it and other other person on the other side and talks into it like a phone she told me to stay there while she went to the other side.. Once she was at the other side she started talking to me but I wasn't replying for two reasons I didn't know what to say and cause some other girl had pushed me out of the way and started talking back to Lia. That's when Lia came back to me and asked why I wasn't replying I just stood there looking at the other girl that had pushed me. Once again before I knew I was being dragged to the tricycles and pushed onto one.
