My hurricane

It crept in suddenly

and swept me away

violent and blissfully

sent me astray

The waves they clashed

as I floated along

howls were lashed

as it hummed its song

Softly it swayed

wrecking me

but it never stayed

mocking me.

It’s strength it’s rush

as it turned around

it left a hush

by it’s graceful sound

as i whirled

in the waves’ tug of war

my mind it hurled

it made me soar

Then that night

it left me alone

Nothing in sight

just me on my own.

It was nothing like a drizzle

now nothing felt the same

It made my heart cripple

It was my hurricane.
