Craziness In The Sky

2 days later......

     It has been an exhausting 2 days but she found a temporary manager to fill in for Cameron , and now it is 3am Friday morning and Naomi is packing her bags for her flight to see family. She woke up at 2 to wake Chelsea up because it takes her longer to get ready. They will meet at the airport. So now she was waiting for the taxi to pick her up.

     While she waited she thought about her much dreaded family visit. At 5'9 and age 50, Mrs. Gloria Baker is the leader of her community, she keeps the community out of trouble, tutors children of all ages, and makes sure they graduate from high school, and gave great advice that everyone asked for except Naomi.

    She loved her mother but it was always the same thing getting married and giving her lots of grand babies. Her mother wanted this so bad that everytime Naomi visited, she had a different man waiting on her. She appreciated the gesture but her mom always told them about her owning 2 businesses so they looked at her like an ATM and not their date. She got so fed up that she hasn't visited in a year.
Naomi heard the taxi and headed out to meet Chelsea at the airport.

6 hours later....

    Ugh... that was the plane ride from hell and the devil was played by none other than Chelsea. Security checks went fine and we were seated with no problems. About halfway through the flight Chelsea snapped.

      Apparently a stewardess caught an attitude with her. Why did she do that? By the time we landed she had a broken nose and no job, because apparently she got physical with a couple of other passengers. Chelsea on the other hand had to go for a 24 hour psych evaluation hold at the local hospital. She would get picked up in the morning hopefully with the new found mental help she so desperately needs. So that left Naomi by herself to deal with her family. The uber ride to the was stressful and what was worse, she couldn't bring Bob to help her calm her nerves.(she didn't want to explain that to airport security).

     As the uber pulled into her neighborhood, she couldn't help but reminisce about her childhood. Whether it was the good the bad and sometimes the downright ugly, it helped shape her into the woman she is today. As soon as she got to the house she knocked on the door. The door opened and there stood her little brother Grant.

All he said was " Mama waiting on you in the living room."

He did grab her bags and put them in her old room. She walked down the hall to the living room along the way passing her baby pictures and pictures of relatives living and dead. When she finally made it she couldn't believe her ears and eyes.

"Naomi we have been expecting you"........
