It was a day like any other; at least that is what I thought.

Once upon a time..

Hey there, my name is Tiffany. I woke up knowing it was the day I was going to pledge, and become a Kappa Phi Sigma Sister at the most prestigious Sorority house at the University. This has been my dream ever since I was a little girl, and I wanted to follow in my mother's footsteps. She was a sister here, and I want to be just like her. I woke up with butterflies in my stomach and I rushed to get ready. Now that my other morning duties were done, I could pick out the perfect outfit for when I pledge this afternoon. After 20 minutes of looking for my outfit, I have officially made my decision on what I am going to wear. I have decided to wear a pink flowy dress with white polka dots that goes just below my knees. I decided to curl my long blond hair, and to just do a natural look for my makeup. I want to make a good impression on the Sorority so I have a better chance of getting in. After I was finished getting ready I took a quick look in the mirror, and then I headed out of my dorm room to the Sorority.

After walking for a few minutes I made it to the front door of the sorority house. I saw a few other hopeful pledges awaiting entry, and the door slowly opened. Once the door opens, I noticed a creepy man that was towering over all of the girls around me. The nervous butterflies changed to me feeling extremely afraid. Shortly after, other creepy men showed up towering over us. This creepy man pulls in all of us girls; along with the other guys to drag us inside the sorority house. What I thought was going to be the best day ever; turned out to be something way different. It was worse.
Even in the fast paced fear I was feeling, I noticed the sorority sisters with black duct tape on their mouths, and brown knit bags over their heads. Their hands and ankles were tied together. After dragging us inside, the men aggressively started putting black duck tape on our mouths and the brown knit bags over our heads. Before the men put the tape on my mouth, I got a chance to let a word out. "Why are you doing this to us?" And one man answered,"Shut up!" After that I could not add another word, because they put the tape on my mouth. They tied our hands and ankles together just like the other girls. Now that my vision has gone dark under the brown knit bags; my fear has grown even bigger, and I was starting to hyperventilate. I could not move my body without having the rough rope to rub against my sensitive skin. After a couple of minutes I noticed that the room got quiet, and I assumed that the men that took us hostage left the room.
After a while, I came up with an amazing idea to try and get out of the situation. I just hoped that even with a blindfold I could use my hands untie another girl's hands, so we could eventually get our blindfolds, tape, and rope off to help with the others girls and hopefully get out of here. A moved my hands around me, and felt what I thought was a girls arm. At first she freaked out and thought it was one of the men keeping us hostage, so she was struggling with me. It was hard too, because I could not calm her down, to let her know it was just me. I was able to untie her rope on her hands, and she eventually caught on, realizing that she was being untied. She was able to take all of her stuff off, and helped me quick. And it went on from there. We were able to help all of the other girls, and we slowly snuck out to a safe place, and called the cops. After a few minutes, the cops arrived, and cuffed the men who took us hostage, and they drove off to the police station. A few reporters asked us questions, and then eventually left. The head sorority girls apologized, and told us that they had no idea why this happened. It happened out of nowhere. They told us we could continue the pledging process. It was for sure a roller coaster of a day, and I am thankful that it was not worse. After going through the process, I had become a pledge at the best sorority on Campus, and I was so happy.
