"No Daddy I'm not going"

Sanyukta sighed hearing her daughter's stubborn voice from the other room. She was tempted to get up from the seat and march into her daughter's room. She quickly shut her laptop and stood up from her seat.

"Mumma?"

She looked down and smiled looking at her two year daughter. She looked so pretty in those small gloves and beautiful flower dress. She had her father's eyes but her nose and that pouty lips matched her mother. Her daughter was holding the small spatula in her hand that had chocolate cream on it.

"Rai why are you holding this? Randhir!"

Sanyukta called out for her husband. She just needed some time away and the house turned into hell. She bent down and picked her daughter and scooped her in her arms.

"Mumma see this?" Railyn held the spatula and pointed at the cream.

"Sanyukta! Hey Rai" Randhir looked at Sanyukta then at his daughter Railyn. She giggled looking at him.

"Come here Rai"

Randhir held his hands for her and she instantly leaned in to him.

"What is she doing with spatula, Randhir?" Sanyukta glared at her husband.

Randhir smiled sheepishly. He should have handled them just like she does but they were really handful.

"We were trying to make cake and Railyn and Rayn also joined Ahana and Reyansh. It was going well until Rai put her hand into Ana's sprinkles bowl and ate few." Randhir playfully gave a glare at his daughter who just snuggled closer to him. He loved his children equally but his daughter Ana is top most in that department.

"I'll talk to Ana and please try to minimize the mess in kitchen." Sanyukta said.

"Mumma!" She heard the voice from downstairs. Panicked she looked at Randhir who mirrored her expression.

They both rushed downstairs and into the kitchen.

"What happened Rey?" Sanyukta asked her elder son eyeing her both sons who were seated on the kitchen counter top and had their faces smeared with cream.

"Mumma Rayn put cream on my face" Rey complained pointing an accusing finger at her brother. Sanyukta sighed.

Rayn and Railyn were the naughtiest kids of the four and they really did create trouble for their sister and brother. She picked Rayn from the counter top and looked at his cream smeared hand and turned towards Randhir.

Randhir tried to crack a smile. He should have never thought of baking cake with kids. Well that was written in the Parent Guide book but the book actually was for single kid so he could exactly not blame them. He had promised Sanyukta that he would give her the time she needed to write her final draft.

Yes Sanyukta was now a writer. She had started writing short pregnancy tales while her pregnancy time and that came out to be a best seller. She had included her personal experiences which made the book even more interesting. She was actually writing the guide for healthy pregnancy. After doing lots of research and taking advices from Vidhushi who also delivered Rayn and Railyn, she started to write another book.

"Rey, Ana I want the kitchen to be cleaned. No excuses." Sanyukta gave them one stern look and walked towards the washroom to clean Rayn. Randhir took the spatula from Railyn and placed it on the kitchen top and followed Sanyukta.
