"Enoch!" You greet the peculiar with a small smile.
"Horace, Millard, and I are going outside to kick around the ball. Do you want to join us?" You ask, smoothing out your dress after as you stand in front of his desk.
"No. With the wights' new interest being us, peculiars, I wouldn't even step outside the house." He scowled.
"Oh stop it!" You scoffed and rolled your eyes.
"Your being such a pessimist."
