Why do people who hurt others get to be happy?
Some people hurt people because they enjoy it, they like the thrill of power they get. They feel superior and they run with it, they destroy anything and everything they can in order to feel that type of rush again. It becomes an obsession; they become addicted to it like people do drugs and it's sick.
Then there's those who hurt people time and time again in order to try and rid themselves of their own pain. They place it on someone else so that maybe, just maybe, someone will be able to relate. They do it time and time again because still no one understands and they too destroy anything and everything they can in order for some help.
Then there's those who don't even realise they're doing it. They're like the thorns on roses. They sit there looking beautiful but as soon as someone gets close enough they hurt them. They don't mean to but it doesn't mean it doesn't cause pain to the other person- however, unlike the others they feel guilty and they don't want to repeat this, they don't want to hurt people. But they can't change who they are and sometimes thorns can't be blunted therefore they work with what they've got and they smile. In someways they're the worse because they know what's going to happen yet they welcome them with open arms waiting for the moment the person is going to get hurt.
