When everything changed

Chapter 2

A week later.

I'm still grieving over mum. No one has called or even text to see if I'm okay in my absence from school. Not even my boyfriend Ben. He obviously doesn't care. He's never normally around anyway. I see him like once a week but I don't want to lose him. I know I should finish with him but I just can't if I did it would make everything so awkward because his friends are my friends and yeah.

I check my phone for what seems like the 100th time today. I've got one twitter notification and a few meetme notifications but no texts no phone calls,nothing.

I open the twitter app on my iPhone to see what's happening and I've got a new follower and two tweets about me. I open them even though my conscious tells me not to.

One says "Ashley's only off because she's got aids. "

The other says. "No she's off because she's sleeping around house to house every night a bit like Santa haha "

I start typing not even knowing as my fingers start taping at the keyboard of my phone. The tweet I'm about to send to those nasty bitches reads "no you bitch. Ashley is off because her mother died only a week ago. Go ahead and slag me for not having a mum. And having a perfect life like you stuck up bitches do. I don't care anymore." I hastily press the send button and open meetme as soon as I knew that the tweet had been sent.

I look at the bottom and it seems like I've got a few admirers I play the game that you have to guess who's admiring you and lost on the first try. I try again on my second attempt and get it correct.

He's a really good looking Brittish boy. Out Goes by the name of Harry Styles . I press the add friend button and set my phone down on my bed and lie back.

A few minutes later my phone goes off twice in the space of a minute. Ones twitter and ones a meetme message. I click on the meetme message first because that's more important.

It was from that Harry boy.

"Hey you're beautiful.xxx"

"Hey you're not bad yourself. Xxx" I press send and look on my twitter to see I'm getting loads of hate tweets saying that I'm just attention seeking.
