SHE WAS NUMB.

She did not know how to think. Her hair was let down and wavy and she wore an uncomfortable dress that was too tight for her upper body. A pearl necklace touched her cold skin and tall heels made a sound whenever she walked.

She was out of her fiancée's grasp and she walked to a balcony, ignoring the party behind her. She needed fresh air, she needed to get out of here. She did not know why but whenever she looked at the stars, she felt as if they listened to her.

Grass. Air. Butterfly. Mountain.

It was in the back of her head. Every now and then she saw a blurry image of those things. She did not know why or how but it was presented to her like an unwanted visitor.

Although, this was different. She wanted those thoughts to be there. She wanted to experience those nature related things.

Leaving the balcony, she quietly slipped through the party and walked towards Richard's room. She sighed, laying down on the bed, her hair relaxing and her eyes tracing the chandelier that was staring back at her.

Before she knew it, a hand clamped over her mouth and she was gone.

DRACO RARELY CRIED.

Well, he rarely ever truly cried. He had rarely ever let out a cry in which he was breaking and falling apart.

But when David appeared with Astoria in the forest nearby the Van Daskni's Mansion, he let out a cry.

She was physically there, but her eyes. She looked.. dead, lost. The minute she appeared, he had turned to look away, not being able to look at her eye to eye. It was too unbearable for him.

Cassandra was next to notice. She clamped a hand over her mouth when she saw her and tears glistened down her cheeks. It was silent, the faint light behind them from the Mansion staring them down.

Cassandra's jagged breathed filled the night air and Liam engulfed her into his arms.

At this point, Draco had walked away, needing space. He had thought that it would have been easier to get Astoria, that David would just sneak into her room and take a apparate to them.

But Astoria was long gone, her frail body looking like the dress she wore was sucking the life out of her. Cassandra broke out of Liam's grasp and turned her head to Astoria. Her brown eyes were red and her cheeks were stained,

"Astoria," Cassandra mumbled, "do you recognize me?"

Astoria turned her head, her eyes looking straight at Cassandra. "No."

She looked away, tears falling down her face. "Do you recognize anyone here?"

Astoria took time to look around. Liam, Cassandra and David all stared at her and from a distance, she saw someone walking away. "No," she answered.

Cassandra let out a whimper and David looked over his shoulder to the Mansion. He noticed the lights slowly turning off in a row like dominoes. His dark eyes widen as he shouted, "I have to take her now."

Cassandra and Liam nodded. But the real reason why David had shouted that was because Draco. The whole reason Draco had risked to leave the Malfoy Manor was for her and David had hoped he would at least talk to her.

When he said that, he took a pause from his steps and his head leaned back, looking at the stars. Astoria copied what he was doing and looked at the stars.

Thump Thump.

Her heart pounded and visions of a mountain, grass, a tent and stars came into her mind.

What's going on with me?

Davis waited for Draco to turn around but alas, he never did. He continued on walking as David turned away, holding onto Astoria's upper arm as he apparated back into her dungeon and left with no sign he was ever there.

The trio ran towards Draco and took their hands and apparated back into the front of the Hogwarts Castle. It was silent at first as they walked slowly towards the entrance but it was Draco who broke the silence.

"We are going to get her back," the group all looked behind and saw Draco intensely staring at the sky - the stars, "I will get her back if it's the last thing I do." And he trudged past them and into the castle.
