one week later

"WHAT HAPPENED TO her?" Cassandra asked Astoria.

Astoria continued to fiddle with her fingers. "I don't know," she answered, "after Draco and I eloped, we tried looking for her in the Mansion but she just...disappeared."

The pondering question of where Myra went was glued into their brains. A week after getting married, a week after escaping the dreadful mansion and a week into returning to Hogwarts, Myra was nowhere to be found.

Astoria last saw her on the morning of her wedding to Richard. Well, more like her wedding to Draco, but nonetheless, Myra had just disappeared out of their lives. She couldn't remember if Myra was in the backyard during the ceremony.

"Did you see anything?"

Cassandra shook her head. "It was only us fou- three...And Simone."

Astoria's heart sank. She still couldn't believe that Simone was a death eater. She hadn't noticed any signs. Simone was just utterly...perfect.

Astoria fiddled with her fingers even more, the April breeze hitting her face. It was the middle of April and the sun surprisingly had a rare occurrence of beating down on their pale faces. Instead, the clouds were gray and dark. The color of the sky's matched ones of a rat and the presence and air around the school of wizards and witches was thicker.

Rumors had spread around the school quickly when she came back. She had heard that some students were being sent away and pretty much locked into a room. The rumors was such a focal point in the school that no one seemed to notice the disappearance of Astoria. Not even Keith and Francis, her old bullies.

They'd been intoxicated by the rumors.

"It has to do with Harry Potter!"

"Some say he was at the Malfoy Manor not too long ago."

"Can't be!"

The circled group all turned to face Astoria and gave her a look over. Her disappearance wasn't that well paid attention to but her elopement was. Rumors about the union of a certain Malfoy and Greengrass had spread after Astoria had come back. She received stink eyes from her entire house, especially Pansy Parkinson. The rumors about her own marriage had began a few days after she returned, most likely started by none other than her sister.

She didn't know why her sister would spread the news about her but not even talk to her. It was as if she was shunned after the wedding. Which, to her guess, she believed she was. Her family didn't even want to face her after hearing her separate marriage, instead writing her a letter that had arrived two days after she came back.

Astoria,

Utterly, ashamed of you. You have forever ruined our family name and humiliated us.

We thought everything was going to work out with you. You had always disappointed us before and alas, we thought you'd actually fulfill something your family wanted.

We shouldn't have kept our hopes up so high.

The rest of the letter was awfully cruel words towards her that was so bad, it left her crying in the closet of the house Draco took over. Soon after, he burned the letter.
