After a few hours of Viktor talking about Russia and Yuri replying by saying something about Japan, Viktor decided it was time to go back to his room. He said his goodbyes to Yuri and began walking out when he noticed one of his paintings on the side of Yuri's door.
"Oh? This is a painting I did five years ago." Viktor said, looking at the painting and studying it with a smile.
Yuri blushed and stumbled over to Viktor in an attempt to push him out of the door before he noticed all the other paintings covering his walls. He failed to do that though and Viktor laughed as he saw another one, and then another one, followed by even more.
"You really do like my work, huh?" Viktor giggled as Yuri kept trying to push him out with a blush.
"No! I mean..." Yuri said as he stopped trying to push Viktor out and looked at the floor in defeat. "Yeah... A lot of my books are inspired by your works. They never get published though."
"Why are you embarrassed, Yuri?" Viktor asked as he tilted Yuri's head up with a single finger. "I'm glad you like my work. I like yours too. I actually have all the books you've written that have gotten published."
"R- really?" Yuri replied.
"Yeah. I guess, us being such big fans of each other, we were destined to meet eventually." Viktor laughed before he placed a kiss on Yuri's forehead. "But anyways, I think we should get some sleep. We have an important date tomorrow and I want my Yuri looking his best."
Viktor placed another kiss on Yuri's cheek before he waved goodbye and walked out the door. Yuri collapsed on his bed and let out a heavy sigh.
"I'm going on a date with Viktor Nikiforov." Yuri stated to himself before he shot up from his bed. "I went on a date with Viktor Nikiforov!"
Yuri panicked for a few moments before he finally calmed down enough to get to bed. He knew he was going to regret this soon. When Viktor reached his room he pressed his back against the door and slid down it with a smile. He planned on going to the event alone or not going at all, but now he was going with Yuri Katsuki. He was going on a date with the Yuri Katsuki. He had gone on a date with the Yuri Katsuki.
"Let's hope I don't fuck this up." Viktor giggled as he stood up and petted his dog for a moment before changed into his pajamas and got into bed. "Let's hope Yuri doesn't regret this."The next morning Viktor stumbled out of bed to the sound of angry knocking at his door once more.
"Viktor! Wake up, damn it!" He heard little Yurio yelling on the other side of the door.
Viktor sleepily opened the door with a yawn as he let Yurio in.
"It's so early. Why are you here?" Viktor asked as he rubbed his eyes.
"I'm surprised the pig isn't here in bed with you. Move, I'm coming in." Yurio said with an evil laugh as he pushed Viktor out of the way so he could come in his room. "Make me coffee. I'm thirsty."
Viktor groaned but smiled as he started making coffee for the two of them. Even if Yurio was demanding and yelled at him a lot, Viktor couldn't help but have his heart melt over the small boy. He was like a son to him, one that in a strange way would murder him in a split second.
"So why are you here again, Yurio?" Viktor asked as he poured coffee into two cups for them.
"I told you to not call me that damn horrible name!" Yurio yelled before he sighed and calmed his tone. "The museum event it tonight. You're bringing the pig, aren't you?"
"I am, actually. How did you-" Viktor said before he was cut off.
"I think I might ask Otabek to come with me but... I don't know if he'll like that kind of event, since he's an animator." Yurio said in a sad tone, a nice contrast to his usual screaming. "I also think I might announce that I won't be doing painting anymore. Otabek and I have been doing a lot of good animations together. At first I couldn't get my own style, but we've even started to animate a short film. He said that I'm doing good and learning really fast, I like hearing him praise me like that. His praise matters more to me than that of all the pompous assholes who think they critique my work and it makes them special. That's why I've decided to stay wherever Otabek is and keep doing cartoons. Not to mention that animation is a platform where I can express my emotions however I want, in a creative way. The type of painting and art I did before didn't allow me to do that. I would paint my emotions and everyone said I was just inexperienced. Otabek isn't like that."
Viktor looked at Yurio in awe through all of his words.
Yuri Plisetsky isn't painting anymore? He thought to himself. Yurio always made a point to try to make his paintings better so why is he quitting now when he finally has a mentor?
"Otabek, he... Do you like him? The way I like Yuri?" Viktor asked, a bigger question in his head than why Yurio wasn't painting anymore.
"Otabek understands me more than anyone I've ever met. Somehow he knew that I hated painting the way I used to. He saved me, as if he is my hero." Yurio said with a deep blush and a small smile. "I suppose that, one day... I wouldn't mind being with Otabek in the way you want to be with Yuri."
"Ask him then. Ask him to the museum tonight. If he cares about you as much as you care about him, then he'll endure the awkwardness of the event and being around a lot of people who aren't fans of animation." Viktor suggested with a smile.
"I guess... That's a decent idea. Better than all your other stupid ones. Like coming to Japan." Yurio scoffed with a smirk as he stood up.
He walked towards the door, stealing Viktor's coffee cup. When he was in the door way he turned his head to look at Viktor with slightly pink cheeks.
"Thank you... For the advice." He whispered before he turned his head back in front of him. "And for coming to Japan."
Yurio knew that if Viktor hadn't gone to Japan to find inspiration again that he would've never came here too. If he had never come to Japan, he never would've met Otabek and he would be stuck painting his whole life. He would tell Viktor that he was thankful he had come, but he would never tell how glad he actually was.

Hello! Thank you to everyone who commented and voted for the last chapter to show your support for this story. As I mentioned in the author's note prior to this chapter, I was contemplating ending the story where it was. I have decided to keep going with this story at least a little longer and attempt to finish it. I've never been so into a story I've written and I feel like this story will most likely be the first one I've actually completed, but I'm still looking for a way to put a twist in the story where Yuri and Viktor's relationship could be in trouble like I want to happen. So if any of you have any ideas or suggestions please send me a message! Xx
