{Madeline's Pov}
I stare at my reflection in the mirror. It's been so long since I looked at myself properly in the mirror.
Haiven takes my brown curls into her hands and starts brushing. She leans down to my ear and whispers "All the boys will be chasing you tonight. Especially Noah,"
I elbow her in the ribs "You know I don't like him like that,"
She shakes her head disbelievingly. Ugh.
I get out of the chair and go to my bag. I pull out the sleeveless, maroon above knee height dress. This is my favourite dress of all time. Maybe Noah might like.... no, no, no. Not thinking about Noah. Not thinking about Noah.
Xavier pulls out a top and jeans, but is still getting worked up about his outfit "What if Tyler doesn't like it? What if he thinks I look weird or stupid and not like me?"
"He will love you, I promise," I wrap my arms around Xavier's waist and place my head on his chest. "Don't worry. I say you could wear a chicken suit and he'll still like you,"
"Really?"
"Of course," I take my head off his chest and realize that Natalie isn't here. She's always quiet, but now she's so quiet, she simply disappeared, "Xavier, where is Natalie?"
"Oh... she said she didn't want to go to the party. She wasn't feeling well," he said, walking into Haiven's closet, and walking straight back out again.
I decide to just leave it, and walk over to Haiven's wide selection of make up. I pick up a foundation and start my make up. Then some eye liner, Eye shadow and finally mascara.
"OMG. Someone's gonna get the boys tonight," Haiven comes over and hugs me. She's wearing a pencil skirt and top, and she looks amazing. Clothes have always been Haiven's thing, so I'm not that shocked.
{20 mins later}
We stride into the party to see that we're the first to arrive other than Lacey and her brother Isaac.
"Oh hey, sorry, yeah I forgot to text you guys about the party being pushed forward by an hour. It's okay tho, I guess we could hang out for a bit," Noah came over to us and took our coats.
I feel my cheeks blush a deep shade of violet. "Uh... sorry. Wait," I check my phone and see a text, "Uhh. I got a text. Sorry my phone must have been switched off,"
"It's okay," Noah then does this really cute thing where he rocks on his heels and puts his hands in his back pockets. "Anyway, follow me,"
Noah leads us into a big room, decorated with fairy lights, and at the side there are snack tables with different foods and drinks. In the middle of the floor is the dance floor, and a disco ball. I could already hear the light beat of music. Xavier pulls me out into the middle of the floor, and we start madly dancing.
"I....I'm sorry about them," I hear Haiven say, but I into care, I'm having the time of my life.
Suddenly Xavier stops, and I do the same. His gaze is on the entrance, and standing there is Tyler and Jackson. Jackson rolls his eyes, "Oh my god man, just go ask him out already,"
I nudge Xavier forward, and Jackson does the same to Tyler. They meet in the middle, "Hi,"
"Hi," Tyler holds Xavier's hand in his, "Will you go out with me,"
Xavier blushes a deep red, "I don't know." He jokes, but Tyler takes it seriously, " I'm kidding, you big idiot," he slaps Tyler on the chest. But Tyler pulls Xavier in for a kiss. It lasts too long, and I feel uncomfortable.
"Ahem," it was Lacey. They pull apart.
{1 hour later}
Everyone has arrived, and people are already drunk.
"Hey cutie. Wanna make out with me or something," some random person comes up to me.
"Uh no, I'm fine," I start to walk away but he pulls me back by the wrist. "I said no. Please stop,"
He pulls me closer to him, so I hit him, and run. I run to an upstairs room and start crying. I feel an arm around my waist, "I said leave me alone," I punch whatever wrapped it's arms around my waist.
There's a cry of pain from behind me, I turn and see Noah. "Uh. What the was that for?" He asks, standing up off the ground.
"I'm sorry. Some drunk creep came up to me and I dunno. I got really scared. I thought you were him," he seemed actually concerned.
